    LIVE Q&A With Abu Mus'ab - Thursday 16th March 2017 8:30PM UK TIME

Because I tend to run a little late these days, therefore I am changing the Q&A time from 8pm to 8:30PM UK TIME.

This thread is made well in advance, so you have more than enough time to pose your questions before the next program, just in case you forget it.

You can also send in extra questions live on thursday on skype: Skype name: ummahradio

I posted this in reply to snowtrees ...

I them got infracted and accused of making Takfir on Muslims, presumably everyone who died including bystanders and children etc.. who are not part of the forum,

Is it wrong to even say that the ones who died doing shirk at the shrines during this incident are worse than the perpetrators?

What is the grade of this hadith:

    دخلتُ الجنةَ، فإذا جاريةٍ أدماءَ، لعساءَ، فقلتُ : ما هذهِ يا جبريلُ ؟ فقال : إن الله تعالى عرفَ شهوةَ جعفرِ بنِ أبي طالبٍ للأَدِمَ اللَّعِسَ، فخَلَقَ لهُ هذِهِ

If a Muslim does wrong to another person and then asks forgiveness from Allaah and asks forgiveness from that person, and the wronged person forgives etc., does this also mean/is that a sign that also Allaah forgives him?

How many levels are there in Paradise and how many levels in Hell? (A sister said Paradise has 7 levels but I remember hearing/reading somewhere that there are 100 levels or something)

How many prophets were active during the time of Ibrahim as

Was lut as also a rasul

"The people of Lot (those dwelt in the towns of Sodom in Palestine) belied the Messengers when their brother Lot said to them, 'Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? Verily! I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism) my reward is only from the Lord of the 'alamin (mankind, jinn and all that exists). Go you in unto the males of the 'alamin (mankind), and leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your wives? Nay, you are a trespassing people!'

"They said, 'If you cease not, O Lot! Verily, you will be one of those who are driven out!'

"He said, 'I am indeed, of those who disapprove with severe anger and fury your (this evil) action (of sodomy). My Lord! Save me and my family from what they do.'

"So We saved him and his family, all except an old woman (this wife) among those who remained behind."

When husband and wife pray together, should wife stand behind her husband or next to him? Are there two opinions, if yes, which one is the opinion of the majority of scholars?
(I always thought wife stands behind husband in prayer but then I read a fatwa where sheikh Al-Fawzan said both ways are correct)

I am not saying that all walis are like this of course.. and obviously I'm not advocating meeting alone as that is obviously haraam.
And the mahram brothers say they don't wanna meet (instead of/as well as the wali)
It would be much easier for some of our mums to be present..

Also how do we ask the questions? Wali's are supposed to, but say if they don't.. can I ask them directly to the person? (with my wali there)
Maybe handing them a list of questions is better.. I don't know
And I'm not on about trivial qs.. but important ones to do with deen, outlook on life etc..
Going back to my initial qs though.. if the wali seemed not religious, is thar ofputting for people in general?

We are commanded to "clip" our nails at least every 40 days. If a Muslim uses a nail file to keep her nails short enough all the time is this okay? Or is it necessary for her to let the nails grow (not too long) and then clip them?

Is it bad if a person doesn't raise hands when making du'a or makes du'a in their mind? (For example in a public place or in other situations where the person "can't" raise hands/make du'a out loud) Does this have (negative) effect on acceptance of the du'a?

If a woman is in the masjid and she hears the adhan, in that case should she/is it obligatory for her to pray in the congregation or can she pray later at home (for example if she has no wudu or for some other reason she prefers to pray at home)? Especially if the prayer is for example asr or isha so she has several hours time to pray before time for that prayer ends?

If you get a proposal who lives in a different country that is very far away, is it permissible or impermissible to send a picture, through a third party?

(Just because if you send a picture and there is zero/not enough attraction, it saves the person from travelling half way across the world for what could be an instant no, just based on attraction)

Do single women that don't wish to marry (illness, personal issues etc) or those that are divorced need a guardian?

    What's your opinion on this?

We know Shuhada will get alot of hur ul ayn but every man in JAnnah will atleast two wives of dunya whether he was single or married to one,
So,does the higher ranking men of JAnnah Shuhada ,who had perhaps two wives in dunya ,get more! Any proof?

    Just a worrisome question

    This was the answer sis.

The law is any single or married woman or any type of women requires a mahram, so a guardian. Whether young, middle aged or married, a mother etc, you require a mahram. If don't want to marry, one still require a mahram, for whatever reason one doesn't want to marry for, irrespective of that, you still need guardian/mahram/husband, and that requirement doesn't go away.

You're very welcome. He said any type of woman, so I believe that includes divorced women. Where did you read this? Maybe post the site/article.
