    Asalamualaikum

Some people on YouTube use the makkah years as a excuse to not to do anything about the problems today and lower status of jihad and say focus on aqeedah and Iman only as the sahabah did in makkah years can you clarify this

Rasulullah saw said you should love your mother thrice then father but some people love their father more then mother does this contradict with the hadith

What does this Hadith refer to some scholars such as sheikh abdul raheem green say it refers to physical strength other such as sheikh munajjid sheikh uthaymeen say strong in belief and Iman which is more correct and which opinion did the classical scholars agree with more

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:
A strong believer is better and is more lovable to Allah than a weak believer, and there is good in everyone, (but) cherish that which gives you benefit (in the Hereafter) and seek help from Allah and do not lose heart, and if anything (in the form of trouble) comes to you, don't say: If I had not done that, it would not have happened so and so, but say: Allah did that what He had ordained to do and your" if" opens the (gate) for the Satan.

Since car insurance in the UK is said to be permissable by scholars even though it involves haram but that haram is forced on you and to live and earn you may need a car in UK. Does it become farz to migrate to some place where they can practise without dealing with haram/there is no car insurance forced upon you?

How does car insurance involve haram?

And please can you explain why are we told to love our mother more than our father?

If a person whose native language is not Arabic is reciting Al-Fatiha (or some surah after it) in salah and they feel they didn't pronounce some word or aya properly, is it okay to repeat the word/aya (sometimes multiple times to get it sound right) or does this somehow affect their prayer?

I'm asking this question for a sister:
If a Muslim girl or woman has acne/pimples on her face, is it allowed for her to use concealer or face powder to hide it? Especially if it affects her self esteem and she feels she can't go out of her house some days because of the acne.

    Re: LIVE Q&A With Abu Mus'ab - Thursday 19th January 2017 8:30PM UK TIME

    Salam alaikum,

In a previous QA it was mentioned that if someone opens Quran on a mobile device, it can't be touched by a menstruating woman (and possibly someone without wudu)

Is there any way around this for a woman who wants to study Quran, like just opening it in a small window and not full screen? How about on a regular computer using a mouse?

Last time I think reading Sura Mulk at night was mentioned,

Can it be recited during the prayer or does it need to be separate? Can it be done after Maghrib since the night has started or does it need to be after Isha or before bed?

What should a menstruating woman do if she wants the reward of reading it every night?

    Salam alaikum,

I have heard that some people do Istikhara every day for general guidance and not for a particular decision. Is there a basis for this, should the niyyat be for general guidance or the wording of the dua changed to reflect general guidance.

    Sura Maryam dua.jpg

    Salam alaikum,

In Maariful Quran it recommends this dua be recited after the sajdah verse in Sura Maryam.

Should it be recited before the sajdah, in the sajdah after Subhana Rabbi Al Alaa, or after the sajdah? Is it a sunnah? jzk

if someone's money is earned through haram is it haram for others as well?

what differentiates someone's income being fully haram vs partially? i.e. they work as a cashier and sometimes ring up impermissible things, does this make the entire paycheck they earn haram? and is true the person should remove a part of their earnings and give it away to charity if this occurs and the rest will be halal? if so how is this calculated?
Allah sent down his tranquillity upon him and supported him with angels you did not see and made the word of those who disbelieved the lowest, while the word of Allah - that is the highest. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.

There is a sister who makes drawings and draws animate beings (mainly humans) that look very realistic. When I reminded her it's haram to draw animate beings and that it's a serious issue (the punishment for it on the Day of Judgement) she said the view of Maliki madhab is that it's allowed. Is this true?

One of seven people whom Allaah will shade on the Day of Judgement is one who remembers Allaah in private and his/her eyes shed tears. Does this mean shedding tears from the fear of Allaah only or also when crying remembering His mercy, crying because of gratitude, love for Him etc.?

    Question from a topic:

I am 20 years old convert and I live with my non Muslim parents, and they dont really like Islam but they say I am free to practice my belief.

Would it be permissible for me to ask them to give me money so I can perform hajj?

Does this hadith mean all scholars will be taken away or majority good scholars will be taken away and we will be left with the ignorants which is already the case today.

Abdullah ibn Amr reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, Allah does not take away knowledge by snatching it from the people but rather he takes away knowledge with the death of the scholars until he leaves no scholar behind and the people turn to the ignorant as their leaders. They are asked to give religious judgments without knowledge, thus they are led astray and lead others astray.”

If a Muslim woman is praying in her house and she loses all concentration in prayer is it haram for her to stop the prayer and start over?
Or if she interrupts an obligatory prayer because her parent calls her or she stops prayer because someone steps in the room and she gets perplexed and loses khushuu/concentration, is it haram for her to do so?
