As part of my social science GCSE coursework, I have produced a questionnaire and must have it filled in by 50 people. I have less than 2 weeks :| ! lol.

4. define liberation: to many ways to define liberation. liberation can be the right to make your own choices, to choose your own path. another form of liberation would be hijaab.
5. a good thing. why? because God granted mankind free will and no one has the right to take that away.

7. a very good thing. its demonstrates the beauty of intellect in a woman. it sends a positive message that i am free to be me and not just a sexual being. (if your not getting that message, your not reading me correctly)
8. technically, the term "hijaab" would be associated with muslim women. (anyone however could wear it for modesty or whatever reasons.)
9. the covering of nuns is a form of hijaab.

The right to live your life in the way that's right for you, without taking this right away from anyone else.

5. Would you say that ‘liberation’ is a good/bad thing? (explain)

Definately a good thing. Just ask any Palestinian what Liberation means to them. If you're not free, you'd know about it.

6. Define ‘hijaab’

Covering the parts of your body that attract the opposite sex

7. Would you say that the ‘hijaab’ was a good/bad thing? (explain)

Good thing because it stops people from judging you by your looks alone or treating you as a sex object. It makes them focus on your personality. This is a form of liberation as in the west, there is so much pressure on women to look just right, and where women are supposed to be sexual at all times. Hijab liberates you from that.

Muslims (men and women, though women have more to cover up)

Yes

7. Hijab-good/bad: - Extremely good, because it shields women from the lusts of men and which allows them (men) to judge the women through the aspect which matters most- her inner beauty !

5. good of course. god created us free in our choices, and as i said before, when it doesn't take the others' freedom away, it can just be good.

9. yes, though it's a bit different: nuns hide attractive parts of their body since they give their body to god and only god, while muslim women (who wear hijab) hide attractive parts of their body since they give their body to their husband and only their husband.
