I am sorry to hear of your problem.

Bismillah has been around a few years now and has, by and large, provided value for money service. I know the owner personally and I can put my neck on the line for him by saying that he is not amongst those who I would label as a rogue or a con or a cowboy.

Obviously all agents would do their best to try and make savings. Bismillah, perhaps this year, failed in planning a proper schedule. A bulk of his hujjajs were in the same hotel as I was in Madina (Mawaddah Noor) and I found no one dis-satisfied at that hotel. Of course, there were many who were accommodated in another hotel and, perhaps, they were the one most affected.

He has no ministry of haj registeration so there is next to nothing you can do to him in Saudi Arabia. The ministry of haj deals with only those agents they have licensed.

I suggest you try and communicate with him personally and see whether he is minded to listen. If you are not satisfied after that attempt then you have your civil rights, under UK's trading standards law, to take up formal action.

Your outright denunciation of them, here on this forum, itself should serve to cause him loss of reputation and should also serve to caution others who may be thinking of using his service.

when doing my research this was the first site i saw, and i paid heed to the reviews . dome and amaana were the two highest ranked, and co-coincidently when i contacted over 20 companies for quotes (just about after Hajj finished), Dome and Amaana were the only ones to respond promptly to my emails. ALL the others either didnt bother responding or just said they couldnt quote, which itself was largely accurate.
But the point of this is that Dome and Amaana did come through with the best service, best prices and most polite and helpful - AND PROMPT and crucially i found, they bothered to reply - so my experience of this site is pretty good........... inshallah i hope all those setting out to do their research are as lucky as i was.....
