We had great time with Dome Tours . The Makkah hotel was quite basic in facilities and service but was close to Haram. There were some other logistics issues as well as delays due to coaches not turning up on time but on the whole a worthwhile experience. I would not hesitate in recommending this company to future Hajjis although at the same time I would recommend doing a comparison with other reputable agents with the similar price range.
I came back from Hajj after going with Panama Travel (Umrah & Hajj Specialist Ltd).
I was delivered everything which was promised in terms of what was in the brochure.
I stayed in Al Hartiayhh in Medina and Fairmont Clock Tower. Fantastic food was provided to us in Aziziyahh.
There were a few communication problems which was a negative drawback however in terms of what was promised and delivered 10/10.
However overall 9/10.
Some people fail to understand transport delays which is not in the companies control. When we were in Mina people were opening 3 cans of fizzy drink at one time just to sip the can for some Taste then wasting the drinks. People wasted mineral water by doing wudu and moaned when it ran out? However it was topped up but people still moaned?
People expect 7 star facility however that is NOT hajj!
i met a sister who went with Dome tours and she only had good things to say about them - enough to make me wish i had chosen them -ah well - Allahu Alim!
We went with World Flight Centre aka as Hajj Travel.
It wasn't a good start as the agent did not bother to tell us our flight time so we missed the flight - and then spent 3 days getting to Jeddah. Also they did not bother to get our hajj draft.
Worst hotel to stay in - it was at the edge very edge of Azizyah - the Saudi equivalent of South London, cabbies didn't want to go there -
Food was repetitive - chicken and rice twice a day....thanks, didn't help seeing another tour group eating a variety of food, including salads, olives etc.
In Mina the tent was fine - but food was sporadic.....one dinner was served at 2am.....old people went to sleep hungry subhanAllah.
Our package advertised 4 nights in Medinah, we had ONE night. ONE.
Meetings were done purely in Arabic despite this being a UK based operator.....and there was inflighting/politics between the operator staff.
No apologies offered etc.....feel let down BUT i made my hajj so i am grateful for that![]()
I went with Nabil Hajj and Umra group. I cannot commend them enough for their hard work, sincerity, patience and dedication. I will come back and leave more detailed feedback for them, but over all we had an amazing experience.
Sad to hear some off you didnt receive the service you paid for...![]()
I went with AlBrek and have nothing but praise for them and I will definitely recommend them to people for Hajj next year. They were well organized very professional before we departed they gave us IDs which had number our name hotel names and addresses and the number of the group leaders.
They booked originally with BMI but when they found out that BMI was going out from Gatwick and was providing chartered flights they quickly contacted Saudi Airlines 3 weeks before departure and booked over 150 tickets with extra cost of £15000 to them but they did not charge a penny extra from the original price of £3200 for 3 sharing and £3550 2 sharing which me and my wife booked that was a very smart thing they did as we found out later many operators had problems booking tickets for the dates they gave in their brochures.
During Hajj we stayed 4* Hotel in Madinah al Munawarah and 5* hotel Al Marwa Rayhaan in Makkah al Mukharamah in the clock towers and we stayed 2 nights in Azizah apartments 1 before hajj and 1 after hajj.
Any problems we had Al Hajj Ali Brek and he's son Abdal Wahab were there to help us and sort our problems as quick as possible they provided good service and support for the hujjaj.
Our transport journey time was very good during hajj days we hardly had any delays we were one of the first groups to reach Arafat and were the first ones to leave and we had good spots in muzdalifah for rest and collecting stones as we found out later it got jammed packed.
I was very happy with the group leaders Masha'Allah they very polite and nice people their package was very cheap compared to others well known groups who charged more but did not fulfilled their promises and had very dissatisfied customers.
Overall I give them 10/10 for service and value for money May Allah reward them for providing good service for Hujjaj and not worrying about making huge profits they truly did khidmat of the hujjaj.
Me and my husband went with Amaana tours. We were extremely happy with the service provided by them. Highly organised, excellent communication, fully devoted brothers, highly knowlwgeable sheikhs. Could do better with the flights and hotel in Makkah could have been closer to haram shareef.
My advice to anyone going on hajj in future inshallah is to check the location of mina tents. As all European tents are in zone 6 , which is about 2 miles from the Jamarat and believe me you don't really want to be walking that distance in 39 degrees of heat everyday.
To my knowledge Alhadiyaah from Birmingham are the only Uk group who have tents in the VIP section , which is only 10 mins from the Jamarat.
Salam
There are others also which provide VIP tents and we went with Nabil Hajj from London and they also provide VIP Tents.
For me the day of Eid was very tough after Jamarat decided to go back to our hotel in Azizah for shower and change of clothes got lost on the way and ended up doing a 5 hour walk to our hotel which should have taken less then hour.
Then later on the day went for tawaf and sa'ee and when we finished caught a bus back to Mina that dropped us off other side of Mina in the subcontinent camps did not know the way back to the europa camps.
Alhumdulilah with the help of people in India camp and the police we got to our camp Fajr time it was very tough but Hajj is not very easy you need to be prepared for the worst but Allah does help you and makes it easy for you.
I have always walked on the 10th. The total distance from muzdallifa to Mina to jammarat to Makkah and then the twwaf and saee on the top floor and then walking back all the way to the European camps is about 20 miles which is extremely tough if you are not prepared for it.if you ever decide to take a taxi or a bus back to Mina then make sure you are in a small group with at least an Arabic speaking person who can give some directions to the driver.you should be either dropped close to slaughter houses or near Kuwaty masjid from where you can walk for about 15 minutes. Never go on your own especially if this is your first Hajj. I have known people who have taken more than a day to come back having been lost in Mina ocean of tents!
Conclusion. Practice walking well before you go on hajj wearing the footwear you are going to use during hajj. Never walk any where on your own. Avoid taking any transport but if you are desperate then be patient and keep praying to Allah.
same here. We walked about 12 hours in total. We got ripped off -being told we were gonna be taken to Mina but spent 2 hours driving around Makkah picking up other victims and then got taken to the jamaratbut thankfully we bumped into a man outside the European section who led us back to our camp. But it was fajr time we got back. I stank, had a sprained foot and was never more thankful for a shower in my entire life! Even the woman banging on the door didn't faze me loooooool
salaams
did anyone perform hajj with the likes of Al Hidayaah, amaana tours...radiant drops? if yes please share your experiences!
Assalamu'alaikum,
I was recommended Al-Muntada by friends and family who went with them in the past. With their recommendations and having observed the mannerism of the organisers when initially dealing with them I decided to book with them.
Alhamdulillah, the whole experience was amazing. The logistics were taken care of fully and we were kept well informed about all aspects (via meetings and mobile texts). The flights were direct flights with Saudi Airlines (so we didn't have problems with delays or shifting of airports alhamdulillah).
The hotels were very close (2 minutes walk) both in Medina and Mecca. I have no complaints what so ever about the food or accommodations.
Our stay in Mina was comfortable and very luxurious I thought (compared to some of the other camps I witnessed sadly).
We had regular reminders through out the journey (even after Hajj in Mecca when we had Abu Bakr Shatri come to our hotel and give us a reminder and recite for us). We had sheikh Saeed alQadi (from Islam channel and Huda tv) as our religious guide but we also had guest speakers (such as sheikh Haitham al haddad and sheikh Nabil al awadi).
Al-Muntada always encouraged the group to do things together. However, if you felt confident and wanted to do things by yourself they were ok with that BUT they would advise you and tell you about all the potential problems and difficulties. I went to the Haram on the 10th, HOWEVER, I was prepared for it because I was well informed by Al-muntada.
The best thing about going with Al-Muntada was the organisers MashaAllah. They provided a great service, always helpful and always considering our needs. Help was always with a smile no matter what time of the day and location. They tried their utmost to make things easy so that we could focus on our worship. Truely amazing people mashaAllah.
In a nut shell, Al-Muntada should definitely be on your list of Hajj providers to consider (whether you go with them is your choice). I have friends and family who will be going with them next year inshaAllah. Please book early as places are taken very quickly.
JazakAllahu khairan
and Allah knows best.
Al-muntada and Amaana were seperate. Amaana were close to us in Mina but didn't see them in Medina or Mecca.
Under the UK companies law, these two are separate business/entities.
Under the Ministry of Haj these are two independant companies but merged together and operating under one combined haj license. Other than banners and posters, you would not be able to separate them in the Mina camps as the allocation of the Mutawwif is just one.
Similarly for all other merged haj operators and for those UK agents who do not have license but having bought the haj visas, they too would be allocated just one camp under the main license holder. Eg, Me (Al Barakah) or Radiant Drops or Al Hajj and so on.

No its fine your right only one review, so you can't really call that 100%. I don't think many of our Hujjaj know about the site or even this site.
I hope we do get some more reviews, so we know where we went wrong and what we did good.
Always looking to improve in every aspect we can Insh'Allah.

Salam,
Do not travel with Bismillah hajj based in London, Brick Lane especially if you are going with elderly parents. Some people are planning on legal action due to the poor service. I am also aware that they operate under another name in Saudia Arabia. How does one uncover this?
Also, the hajj rating website is not a true reflection of Bismillah and one can question the validity of the data presented. Only 8 people said they were wonderful and suddenly they are the best tour operator overtaking other tour operators that have been mentioned on this website as providing excellent service.
