=/ We are not allowed to chew gum.

You don't have to say sorry to us, since you're not wronging us. However, you're' wronging Allah

Just try to be patient, I know it's hard, esp. with people eating around you and whatnot. But, our pleasure is in what pleases Allah, so I'm sure you can try harder and not chew gum, because that does break your fast.
Secure few moments, everyday, to reflect upon the innumerable blessings of Allah and thank Him for bestowing them upon you.

"A person who is blessed with the ability to be grateful, shall never be deprived of barakah and increase in blessings."
    - Rasulullah (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم)‎

Yes chewing gum will have broken your fast, If you didn't know then may Allaah forgive that but you have to make those fasts up

I know how lonely Ramadhan can be, keep striving and we'd rather be Muslim with no one, than none Muslim with everyone

We are never alone with Allaah
