Exclamation The secret technique to waking up for fajr

    Have you missed fajr consecutively??
Are you tired of that shaytan?
Well look no furthur illuminati is here!

This method has been approved by myself and it works for me. Please try it on your self and see results.

Ok for brothers who are constantly missing fajr and are looking for a last resort.

    T H I R S T

Before you go to sleep deprive your body of water. Make your self thirsty. Then go to sleep with Allah's name and see the results.

You will wake up for fajr immediatly upon hearing the alarm.

Your body will be quenched so first thing is go downstairs and get a glass of water.

Then do wudu, pray fajr and go back to sleep.

I don't know how this works but it works for me. Probably some scientific reason.

Remember use this method as a last resort.

im a great advocate of a contrasting theory - my theory goes you drink LOTS of water before you sleep and around fajr time you wake up cos you really need to urinate - that works just as well

if you have weak bladder control dont try this one - you dont wanna drown yourself in a self-inflicted flood

or just get an alarm clock like momo said

This quran verse motivates me to encourage my family to pray.

that is a great technique, i wont be able to sleep until fajr, lol

i dont recommend this type of technique, best is try to eat little, sleep early, set the alarm, have wudu when going to sleep and most importantly do the bed time adhkaar and make dua to wake up for fajr...inshaAllah it will work

you know what you don't even need alarms or any of these crazy techniques, if you be a good boy or girl you will wake up natuarally around fajr time and it will become difficult for you to miss fajr. You'll find you'll be waking up right before your alarm goes off.

Also make dua' and intention to wake up for fajr.

He it is Who sends blessings on you, as do His angels, that He may bring you out from the depths of Darkness into Light: and He is Full of Mercy to the Believers. [Quran {33:43}]

Re: The secret technique to waking up for fajr

I try everything to wake up for fajr, a alarm clock doesn't work because I think I am a deep sleeper and I seem to wake up at sunrise or 7'o clock (the time I wake up for school, automatically.

Re: The secret technique to waking up for fajr

In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful.

Abdullah ibn Mas'ud narrates that Allah's Messenger (sallal lahu alayhi wa sallam) said: Our Lord is pleased with two men: One man who gets up from his bed and his quilt (parting) from his comfort and his wife for prayer. Allah says to His angels: Look at My servant, he got out of bed, his quilt (parting himself) from his comfort and his wife for the sake of prayer with an earnest desire for that which is with Me and out of fear of what is with Me… (Tirmidhi: 373)

From the above the importance and the reward associated with praying Fajr Salah is evident. One should take every precaution to wake up on time, however if after every precaution one is unable to wake up then the Prophet (sallal lahu alayhi wa sallam) said: “There is no negligence while one is asleep but forgetfulness occurs when one is awake. If one of you forgets the prayer or sleeps through its time, then he should perform the salah when he recalls it.” (Fiqhus Sunnah: 2.99)

In conclusion although one will not be negligent of missing the prayer (after every precaution taken) due to sleep and will get a reward for having the intention, one should make every effort to wake up. This includes that one sleeps early to enable them to wake up early and in time to pray Fajr Salah. Therefore my recommendation to you is that you go to sleep straight away after performing your Isha prayers and Inshallah this will help you in getting up on time. Also after getting up what one should do in opening the knots Shaytan had tied during the night is explained in the Hadith below. This will and help the individual start the day energised and fresh.

Abu Huraira narrates that Allah's Apostle said, "Shaytan puts three knots at the back of the head of any of you if he is asleep. On every knot he reads and exhales the following words, 'The night is long, so stay asleep.' When one wakes up and remembers Allah, one knot is undone; and when one performs ablution, the second knot is undone, and when one prays (salah) the third knot is undone and one gets up energetic with a good heart in the morning; otherwise one gets up lazy and with a mischievous heart." (Sahih Bukhari: 2.243)

    Only Allah knows best.

Re: The secret technique to waking up for fajr

I did the opposite : drinking a lot of water before sleep so I would need bathroom
I often make dua to Allah too, "please wake me up for fajr, please please please" -- it works like charm too!

Alarm clock doesn't work for me because I'm a deep sleeper.
I think Amazon sold an alarm clock that vibrates really hard for stubborn sleepers.

And do you want to know the most practical secret of all? -- Try to sleep early. It's foolproof!

"Place the light in my soul and make light abundant for me.
Make me light and grant me light.” (Sahih Muslim)

Just get your phone that vibrates a lot and put it under your pillow and your awake as soon as tdhe alarm goes off. No need for any dodgy bladder methods!

For the married ppl here is a nice hadith:

May Allah bless the man who gets up during the night to pray and wakes up his wife and who, if she refuses to get up, sprinkles water on her face. And may Allah bless the woman who gets up during the night to pray and wakes up her husband and who, if he refuses, sprinkles water on his face.

If you are one of them people who find it difficult to wake up for fajr, the best tip is to hide your alarm clock before you sleep...just dash it under the bed or in a corner but basically put it in a place where you need to walk to switch it off and keep changing the location every night

When it's time for fajr, even if u feel like sleeping, the noise will drive u mad, you will have to get up, look for the alarm clock , switch it off n ur sleep would probably be ruined by then so praying fajr will be easy!

Not possible here in the (UK) summer time ... Esha is around 10:45om at the masjid and it's going to get another 15/20 minutes later before it starts going back a bit.

By the time you pray sunnah, witr and get home it's easily 12pm.

Then Fajr is around 4am in the masajid here (and will get earlier) so getting any decent sleep is a mushkilah.

But yeh generally speaking, I agree no faffing around after esha. just go to sleep and do what you want to do after Fajr. (easier said than done ofcourse)

When it's time for fajr, even if u feel like sleeping, the noise will drive u mad, you will have to get up, look for the alarm clock , switch it off n ur sleep would probably be ruined by then so praying fajr will be easy!
This i will definitely try coz i have my phone under my pillow, on vibrate and on snooze for the maximum number of times possible but i still sleep through it!!! Lol

I somehow turn it off and dont remember doing it!!

Alhumdulillah my husband wakes up the first time the alarm goes off. So he wakes me up by pulling the duvet off me!! :P

Re: The secret technique to waking up for fajr

you can have 20 alarms and drink loads of water before bed but if Allah does not will it you will not wake up. waking up for fajr is not about alarms or techniques it's about imaan. the best way to wake up for fajr is to repent then ask Allah to help you.
if you miss fajr then check yourself and your imaan because you must have slipped somewhere. i've experienced this myself. i was waking up for fajr normally when all of a sudden one morning i couldn't get up. for the next 3 months i was struggling to get up for fajr and i got depressed because of it. it was the worst 3 months of my life. when i was in the worst state and i thought it can't get any worse i asked Allah to forgive me for whatever was stopping me from doing good deeds and to help me in waking up for fajr. next morning i was up for fajr and it's been so easy ever since. alhamdulilah.

looking back now i know what the sin was that caused me to miss out on so much good. so repent people and you will all be up for fajr.
