    Ibn Katheer said in al-Bidayah wa-Nihaaya: "It's hard for the innovators to live in a place where there are many Hanbalis"

    I knew this story it gets my tear every time, just imagining how much the sahabas loved Allah and sacrificed everything for His sake and for achieving Paradise, yet we are so weak and struggling with our nafs

    Such an enviable strength of their belief in all that is to come..

    Those people never lived to achieve anything in the world, their pure intention was the hereafter..

    What will we be able to say when we are questioned on the same field as them, on the Day of Judgement...

    What excuse do I have?
    وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمۡ ءَامِنُواْ كَمَآ ءَامَنَ ٱلنَّاسُ قَالُوٓاْ أَنُؤۡمِنُ كَمَآ ءَامَنَ ٱلسُّفَهَآءُ*ۗ أَلَآ إِنَّهُمۡ هُمُ ٱلسُّفَهَآءُ وَلَـٰكِن لَّا يَعۡلَمُونَ
