Correct. You go past ajyad makkah turn left and turn right.

VERY SENSIBLE decision, Yus. You're better off compared to some nasty ones from amongst us gujrati operators.

Salams all, Ismail bhai you are very modest with your answer, I stayed at Ramada Makkah last Ramadhan with satia & I can honestly say I would stay in that hotel only as a last resort during Ramadhan due to the distance (other than the location the hotel was very nice), Im sure you all heard about the issues Satia faced last year & how he was forced to change hotels mid Ramadhan, for that reason he will opt for a much better hotel than to risk the comfort of his passengers hence the costly price this year.

Apologies for the confusion in my answer, what i meant to say was Satia changed hotel to Ramada from the first hotel we stayed at & I would think twice before I book with Satia if he was to offer Ramada again, especially in Ramadhan, as the distance coupled with people traffic = average 15-20 min walk each way. To give you an idea of the distane the Ramada in Makkah offer a free bus shuttle service to & from the holy mosque. Jzk

Anyone know how frequent the bus shuttle service is? I assume then, you probably can't hear the adhaan from Ramada hotel?

Has anyone stayed at Al Massa Hotel ( the agent from SA emailed me calling it "Al Marsa Hotal" : Im guessing this is a spelling mistake)

Ive arranged the ramadhan umrah myself, the al massah hotel will cost for a group of 4 150/night and dar al habib will cost me 50/night for 4 ppl........ what do you think guys?

I also will be staying Al-Massa Hotel in Makkah inshaAllah. I believe it is v close to Haram that is the main positive considering the rush/crowds during last 10 days of Ramadan. I have heard good reviews on this hotel so inshaAllah we don't have much to worry.

Al Masa is a Hotel chain with their head office based in their "Al Noor" Masa in Aziziya and which is also a hotel. There are two in Gaza area. One close to the Haram. One facing the pigeon square, one on Ibrahim Khalil street and one right behind Makkah Hilton called Dar Al Nadwa. One is before Makkah Ramada.
