Mullah Omar warns US of war

ON AFGHNISTAN-PAKISTAN BORDER — The former Taleban ruler of Afghanistan Mullah Muhammad Omar has warned that his war with the United States has only started and its flames would engulf the White House.

In an interview with Asharq Al-Awsat, a sister publication of Arab News, Omar also said that Osama Bin Laden is alive. Referring to the Sept. 11 attacks on New York and Washington, he said the “great actions” were significant historical events, which achieved their ends. These will be repeated if the United States does not remove their causes, Omar said. The Taleban chief also had a message for the Palestinians: continue the struggle. This was Omar’s first interview with a journalist for over two years. This reporter met Omar’s special information adviser after an appointment. The reporter was asked to hand over a questionnaire. This was translated into Pashto and taken to Omar. His answers were translated back into Arabic and handed over to the reporter. The former Taleban chief said his organization did not believe the war had ended in Afghanistan, or in Palestine or in any other Muslim country for that matter. “As for Afghanistan, I can say that the war has just started, its fires have been kindled. That fire will reach the White House because it is the seat of all injustice and oppression and where they launched a war against Islam and Muslims without any legitimate reason....When the killing of the oppressed people increased in number we decided to withdraw from the land and start the phase of guerrilla war in the mountains so that the lives of people and the poor Mujahedeen may be spared,” he said. Omar said those who carried out the attacks in the United States had a clear objective. “What is important for the US now is to find out why they did that. America should remove the cause that made them do it.”

But in the process of a mere 8 months, the Taliban and Al-Qaida military forces have been broken and weakened tremendously. And if you want evidence, the Northern Alliance has taken Mazar-i-Sharif, Kabul (the Capital of Afghanistan) and Kandahar (stronghold of the Taliban).
The Taliban's control of 75%+ of the country has been reduced to pockets of areas that are being bombed.
And Osama's life has been taken if you ask me. We consistantly here him communicate to his allies, very distressed, and then all links are lost.

The stupidity and ignorance of the non-Americans in this discussion amazes me. Just because a couple of thousand Arabs have been killed by Israelis, and 50 or 100,000 more by Americans, the non-Americans have a chilli pepperred a$s and while losing a so called war on terrorism.... I am disgusted by my own family who lives in the west. I talk to them and want so badly to send them to a country like Pakistan where Islam could be re-introduced to them the Talibaan way. The problem with western life is that there are too many distractions away from worship and wholehearted service to Allah(swt).
