    Re: Your personality

Gimme da link cos I am stuck between two types
    وَاقْصِدْ فِي مَشْيِكَ وَاغْضُضْ مِن صَوْتِكَ ۚ إِنَّ أَنكَرَ الْأَصْوَاتِ لَصَوْتُ الْحَمِيرِ - 31:19

And be moderate in your pace and lower your voice; indeed, the most disagreeable of sounds is the voice of donkeys."

Do you not see that Allah has made subject to you whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth and amply bestowed upon you His favors, [both] apparent and unapparent? But of the people is he who disputes about Allah without knowledge or guidance or an enlightening Book [from Him].

Isn't there like a survey with questions or something and then you get your personality at the end of it. I seem to fit quite a few :S

    Re: Your personality

    14) Popular and sensitive, with outstanding people skills. Externally focused, with real concern for how others think and feel. Usually dislike being alone. They see everything from the human angle, and dislike impersonal analysis. Very effective at managing people issues, and leading group discussions. Interested in serving others, and probably place the needs of others over their own needs.

    9) Friendly, adaptable, action-oriented. "Doers" who are focused on immediate results. Living in the here-and-now, they're risk-takers who live fast-paced lifestyles. Impatient with long explanations. Extremely loyal to their peers, but not usually respectful of laws and rules if they get in the way of getting things done. Great people skills.

    13) Enthusiastic, idealistic, and creative. Able to do almost anything that interests them. Great people skills. Need to live life in accordance with their inner values. Excited by new ideas, but bored with details. Open-minded and flexible, with a broad range of interests and abilities.

    Give or take lol.

Most people are going to overlap with more than one. It's like asking someone "what emotion do you feel" when in reality humans never feel one emotion but several at once (if that makes sense)-- we are several things at once. I just realised I am talking garbage, maybe there is a category for that...

    Hello,

I took that test around years ago: I'm an INFP. It's amazing how accurate it is in my case, almost like it's describing me lol.

    I got:

ISTP - The "Craftsman" Jungian Personality Types (Free Test)

ISTPs are adventurous and independent. They like to figure out how things work. They have great mechanical and technical skills. They live in the "here and now" which makes them adaptable and spontaneous. They like to keep busy and are action-oriented. ISTPs thrive on new and exciting situations.

Mainly those ones Except I don't really enjoy the present moment because I'm always worrying. If I'm really happy I get scared

    Re: Your personality

    These ones apply the most:

Quiet, kind, and conscientious. Can be depended on to follow through. Usually puts the needs of others above their own needs. Stable and practical, they value security and traditions. Well-developed sense of space and function. Rich inner world of observations about people. Extremely perceptive of other's feelings. Interested in serving others.

Quiet, reflective, and idealistic. Interested in serving humanity. Well-developed value system, which they strive to live in accordance with. Extremely loyal. Adaptable and laid-back unless a strongly-held value is threatened. Usually talented writers. Mentally quick, and able to see possibilities. Interested in understanding and helping people.

Logical, original, creative thinkers. Can become very excited about theories and ideas. Exceptionally capable and driven to turn theories into clear understandings. Highly value knowledge, competence and logic. Quiet and reserved, hard to get to know well. Individualistic, having no interest in leading or following others.
Give me a clear vision, that I may know where to stand and what to stand for - because unless I stand for something, I will fall for anything.

    Re: Your personality

funny thing about these "personality tests" it reminds me of horoscopes years ago, you read your horoscope and you say "yeah, thats me" when in essence you have many types of character traits and its hard to imagine the stars or even JUNG being able to describe you based upon a few criteria

we should look at all of this stuff as mindless entertainment, and horoscopes as clearly haram, even out of curiosity
