Does anyone know which toothpastes are halal? Meaning, the ones that don't contain piggy stuff?
My friends uncle used to work in quality control or something and he said there's only one that is halal...i think its sensodyne but can't remember?
For now i use asda toothpaste...just because it says "suitable for vegetarians" on the packaging! If anyone knows please share. By using any products containing pig stuff, our duas will not be accepted, thats what i heard.
currently in DUNYA awaiting final destination JANNAH (inshAllah )

Narrated Abu Musa: Some people asked Allah's Apostle, "Whose Islam is the best? i.e. (Who is a very good Muslim)?" He replied, "One who avoids harming the Muslims with his tongue and hands." (Book #2, Hadith #10)
lol.. When I read what you wrote it made me think of the movie, "Wizard of OZ" when Dorothy said, "Lions & tigers & bears..Oh My".
Sorry bit off track there.. I was shocked about this finding also. But on a ood note I just found out that a yogurt company here called "Meadow Fresh" uses Halal gelatine. Not sure if you get this product where you are. It made by Goodman Fielder NZ Ltd.Its a New Zealand product. The name sounds Jewish though aye lol
Even colgate don't, if you go on their website they say...
"All Colgate toothpastes manufactured in Europe contain no animal derived ingredients. The Glycerin used in our toothpastes is derived from synthetic or vegetable sources."
Yup, that's mine.
