    bigring The Lion King

Don't know why I'm making this topic, just feeling a bit nostalgic. And I know everyone loved this cartoon baaack in the days *smiles*

I remember when Mufasa died. Mufaaaaaasa (that was his name right)

So yea, don't know why I posted this. So who else likes this?

Knowledge and intelligence leads one who possesses it to do good acts and prevents him from evil.

Ignorance on the other hand, calls the one who is ignorant to conform to his desires, even if it is harmful to him.

Do not try to run away from trials and tribulations, but endure them with patience. They cannot be avoided, and there is nothing for it but to endure them with patience. How can you expect the whole of this world, and all that has been created therein, to undergo change and transformation just to suit your convenience? The Prophets are the best of all creatures, yet they have always had to suffer afflictions and so it is for their followers, those who tread in their footsteps as they walk along their highway, emulating their example.

yep... the first movie was so good.. the sequels to these types of movies always lose the wonder and the "magic" of the original, (imo) because the originals are so unique.. which is half their appeal.

    *calculates*

About 4 in 20,800,404. But you know, just in case, better safe than sorry. His given name does not have to be scar, it could be Abdul but during the weekends..he is known only as "SCAR" *cool bearded emoticon*

I have born free and it's sequal waiting to be watched when I move to our new home at the end of the week.. haven't seen it for years and it's my little treat to myself after a busy week packing and cleaning
.The Prophet sal Allahu alaiyhi wa sallam said, “I guarantee a house in Jannah for one who gives up arguing, even if he is in the right; and I guarantee a home in the middle of Jannah for one who abandons lying even for the sake of fun; and I guarantee a house in the highest part of Jannah for one who has good manners.”

LOL well at the risk of emasculating myself, the first time I read the book I was about 8 and cried myself to sleep at the end. It's the one film that gets to me like that but now I just get choked up instead of outright crying

You are not aware of the consequences that would result (if you were granted what you desire) because what you seek might be to your detriment. (O soul) be conscious that your Master is more aware about your well-being than you are.
