Myra hindley finally kicks the bucket!!!

    http://uk.news.yahoo.com/021115/140/des9d.html

    Myra Hindley Is Dead
Moors Murderer Myra Hindley has died in hospital after serving 36 years behind bars.Hindley died following respiratory failure at the age of 60.

Her time of death was recorded at 16:58 on Friday evening.

She had been receiving treatment for a chest infection at West Suffolk hospital, but her condition deteriorated severely on Friday afternoon and she was given the last rites.

Hindley had been taken to hospital with a suspected heart attack at the beginning of the month.

She was a heavy smoker and also suffered from angina and osteoporosis.

    Inquest

Hindley is understood to have ordered that none of her organs should be offered for transplant if she died and detailed that she wanted to be cremated and her ashes scattered at a secret location.

There will be a coroner's inquest into her death as is routine for prisoners who die in custody.

Hindley and Ian Brady, 64, were jailed for life in 1966 for three murders, sexual abuse and the torture of young children.

In 1987 they confessed to two more child killings.

    Freedom

Hindley had clung to the hope that she might one day win her freedom despite the determination of successive home secretaries that she should die behind bars.

It was thought that a recently-launched House of Lords legal challenge aimed at stripping home secretaries of the power to keep prisoners in jail after they are no longer considered a risk might eventually have led to her walking free.

Her death spared future home secretaries the furore which would have surrounded her release from Highpoint Prison in Suffolk.

Here is a list of the 13 prisoners in the UK who will never be released. There are 9 others, but the Prison Service won't name them.
    Malcolm Green
    Age: 53
Given a life sentence in 1971 for killing a prostitute, and released after 18 years. Five months later, in 1990, he killed, apparently without motive, a tourist from New Zealand whom he had befriended.

    Archie Hall
    Age: 78
Between 1977 and 1978 Hall killed the former MP Walter Scott-Elliott and his wife Dorothy, for whom he worked as a butler, two accomplices, who were also thought to be his lovers, and his half-brother.

    Ian Brady
    Age: 62
The Moors murderer was given two life sentences in 1966 for the murders of Lesley-Ann Downey, aged 10, John Kilbride, 12, and Edward Evans, 17. The body of 16-year-old Pauline Reade, another victim, was discovered on Saddleworth moor in 1987.

    John Hilton
    Age: 71
Hilton served a life sentence for murdering a man during a robbery at a south London shop in 1962. A month after his release on licence in 1978, he shot a diamond jeweller in the back during another robbery, and also accidentally shot his accomplice, who bled to death.

    Jeremy Bamber
    Age: 39
Given five life sentences in 1986 for shooting his adoptive parents, his sister and her twin sons in order to land a £500,000 inheritance.

    John Duffy
    Age: 41
The so-called "railway killer" was given seven life terms in 1988 for two murders and three rapes between 1975 and 1986.

    Dennis Nilsen
    Age: 54
The civil servant was jailed for life in 1983 for six murders and two attempted murders, having killed and dismembered 15 gay men.

    Victor Miller
    Age: 45
A computer operator, he indecently assaulted and murdered a 14-year-old boy after abducting him on his paper round in Hagley, Worcestershire, in 1988.

    Rosemary West
    Age: 46
Given 10 life sentences in November 1995 for helping her husband Fred rape, torture and kill young women at their home in Gloucester.

    Arthur Hutchinson
    Age: 61
A petty criminal who also had a history of violence, Hutchinson gatecrashed a wedding reception at the home of a Sheffield solicitor in 1983.

    Victor Castigador
    Age: 46
An illegal immigrant who came to Britain from the Philippines in 1985, Castigador was jailed for life in 1990 for murdering two Sri Lankan security guards during a robbery at a Soho amusement arcade where he himself worked.

    Colin Ireland
    Age: 46
The ex-soldier pleaded guilty in 1993 to torturing and murdering five gay men he picked up in a pub in Kensington, west London.

    Donald Neilson
    Age: 60
Nicknamed the "black panther" because of his trademark balaclava, he shot dead three post office workers during robberies, and later kidnapped the 17-year-old heiress Lesley Whittle in an attempt to extort a ransom.
Quite a collection. You can probably stick the killers of Sarah Payne and those two girls over the summer on that list as well.

The odd thing is it would cost more to execute these people than it does to keep them in prison. Oh well, at least they're suffering for the longest possible period of time.

    Magicman,

I thought I heard recently on the radio that Jeremy Bamber had been granted leave to appeal, or was I imagining this?

    Regards

I just looked it up and it turns out he is going to get a chance at appealing against his sentence. They think DNA evidence on the silencer of the gun could prove that he never fired it and that it was the sister, who suffered from schizophrenia, that killed the family.

Kinda makes you think about how many innocent people could be rotting in jail right now.

I think Myra was secretely released and living under a new identity!

    Think about it!

No picture of her body has been released. No death certicate published, etc, etc.

After all, its all part of the Government's 'care in the community programme' to release peadaphiles and child killers into society in the hope that they can 're-habilitate'!

Of course, others here think I'm speaking a load of codswallop!

Myra cost tax payers a lot of money. Money to house her in prison, money to feed her, money to let her have a degree-level education, blah, blah, blah.

So the only way to cut costs (maybe to help pay for a war), was to release her, and invent a story that she has gone to meet her rewards!

    A perfect coverup!

If you don't believe me, then disprove it!!!

    Hi Sultan,

Just curious...but why is it that you always look for the "conspiracy" behind everything that happens in the world?

I suggest that for the most part, the easy and simple answer is the correct answer almost 100% of the time - not some complicated wild conspiracy...

I'm afraid to tell you that in general the world is not as exciting as you might like it to be.

Of course you could turn right around and ask me why I am so willing to accept the easy, simple answer...
My answer to that because almost 100% of the time the most simple answer is the correct one - that is sorta the way of the universe, so unless I have great evidence to prove otherwise, I go with what makes simple sense.

    Talk to you later,
    Unbiased
