well its not homework, we have a contest here at my Islamic school and they give us questions we need to answer, and we are supposed to research and find the answers and bring them in by thursday. so I though i should start today.

نبذة: وُلِدَ في سنة 181هـ في سمرقند، ثم شد الرحال فطاف بالبلاد طولًا وعرضًا، فسمع بخُراسان والعراق والبصرة وواسط والكوفة وغيرها. ومات بعد صلاة العصر، يوم التروية من سنة 255هـ عن خمسة وسبعين سنة.
born in the year 181 AH in samarkand then he left to travel around the world he went to khurasan, and iraq and albasrah and wasit and alkufah and elsewhere, he died after the asr prayer on the day of tarwiyah in the year 255 AH at the age of 75 he wrote sahih ibn khuzayma(I've read in other places that it was 311 so I don't know what the correct answer is, for you to check then :)
