A remembered friend
How do you say goodbye
to a friend? You don't
just keep them in your heart.
Realize that you'll see them again
somehow. So clear your head and
then move on.
You can never forget how nice
they were. Or the smiles they
kept on their faces.
Become proud that you were
even friends. Visit their dirt
homes once in awhile.
Leave at their homes a knocking
of flowers. Roses, Lilacs, Bulbs
and even Gardenia's.
His favorite was always the
Gardenia's. No other flower he
would trade for that sweet-scent.
His body now rests somewhere
on the moon. Wishing you goodbye,
I'll see you soon.
