As a nephew of someone killed by the British soldiers in Northern Ireland, I will always defend the civil rights of any man and woman. I have lived in Britain all my life, but always as an outsider due to my Irish Republican background. Why did the fear arise? was it because my fellow brothers and sisters bombed the mainland of the British Isles? No it was because my brothers and sisters reminded Britain that they bombed the homes of my family. This is a story from 250 years ago, 250 miles West of Liverpool but we still wait for our revenge. Then one day we turn on the news and watch as we see the great hand of America and Britain reach out for new land, but this time an excuse arises for war against a supposed enemy called "Islam!" I'm sorry, all I see is an enemy I've witnessed through my life as aggressors and oppressors of what my ancestors died before........but this time ,it won't happen again!
