hmmm, kinda reminds me of the "hokey pokey", but in that song you just shake everything all about, right hand in, shake it all about..etc

another one was the farmer in the dell

they all come back to you once you have your own kids, cuz then you have to play them again, and teach them, and let your kids win too

altho i never had to let mine win at tag, they were always faster then me :0:

once while playing hide n'seek i couldnt find my son anywhere, (he was 5 at the time)...i looked and looked and then became worried so i called out his name, and he did not answer...then i got more worried....until i heard him snoring

when I was a kid, I lived most of my first ten years with my grandparents on a farm in Northern Ontario. Being one of 4 non catholic families in an Irish Catholic town, I usually didn't have too many kids to play with so I spent a lot of time in the forest around the farm or I read a lot

sounds alot more healthy if ya ask me

i mean social interaction is important for children, but some of it is also damaging, kids can be cruel to each other, especially if its a racial problem

Let's just say that grade school is where I learned how to fight. You kind of had to when the sister that was on yard duty was chanting "Kick the proty" when I was jumped by 4 older boys. The catholic school was the only one in town and they didn't have homeschooling back then.

Back when I was a child, mother rarely let us venture farther than the mouth of our cave.

She said there were "too many" wooly mammoths about.

But when something would distract her, like a solar eclipse, I and my siblings would scamper down to the nearby tar pits to throw rocks at the animals trapped in the stinky black goo. That was always a fun way to spend an afternoon.

And there was always cave-painting. Yes. Cave-painting was encouraged. "See, daddy's throwing a spear at a wooly mammoth!" or, "See, daddy's running away from a wounded wooly mammoth!"

All in all, it was a wholesome childhood.

Are gophers them cute lil' things I saw in Cali that pop their head out of holes in the ground?

If so, and you're going to eat them, you can hunt them as game.

But if you're doing it for fun, then that's not Islam.

Blood sports are forbidden in Islam.

As with many ethnic groups saddled with pejorative terms, many Newfoundlanders use the terms to refer to themselves or to each other, and in this context they are less offensive than when used by non-Newfoundlanders.

Other than it's nothing like sumo wrestling ;)

Kabbadi is great, and bloody difficult to play. I played it a bit when I was a little bit younger, but I haven't had the chance to play for the past few years. My fitness levels have somewhat dipped...

I played with my fingers...I would use my two middle fingers and point them down, and the other two fingers pointing up (and bend the thumb inwards) so it would like Superman flying up:D

it's a bit of wrestle and escape safely to your own side.

kabaddi kabaddi kabaddi kabaddi kabaddi kabaddi kabaddi kabaddi kabaddi kabaddi kabaddi kabaddi kabaddi kabaddi ....we go on repeating these words in one breadth and go to opponent side and touch them and must return safely to the barrier line to earn pionts .

Btw I played Kho Kho in schools ....this game is equally enjoyed by boys and girls .:)
