Salam Alaikum

1) If I miss 1 prayer does that equal to a 1 bad deed against me, and if I pray 1 prayer does that equal to a good deed towards me?

2) The other day whilst in prayer I suddenly realised I still had chewing gum in my mouth so I swallwed it. Did this nulify my prayer?

Missing even a single prayers is a Sin..A person neglecting salah though he makes it up later, shall remain in hell for a period of one huqb. A huqb
is equal to eighty years of 360 days each and a day in the hereafter shall equal to 1,000 years of this world." May Allah save the believers from such punishment! Imagine the punishment of one who rejects and neglects salah all together...

ur not suppos to even chew anythign even whilst in prayer invalidates the fast

im pretty sure but find out though im not a scholar

I'm sorry for hyjacking the thread, but since the topic is on Salaah, is it okay to cry in Salaah? Even if you try so hard not to? But it just happens?

Can you please show me the relevant hadeeth to back this.

Also the chewing gum was not while during fasting hours.

u cnt swallow nething in salah. i think if something is already in ur mouth, and less than the grain of rice size if u swallow it wont invalidate, if it is larger (eg the gum) it invalidates.. and if u took the food grain out and then put it back in ur mouth and swallowed it, it invalidates even if it is smaller than a rice grain.

I have heard it is permissable (and good) if the crying is from fear of Allah but if ur crying for any unrelated or dunya reason it would invalidate ur salah?
