...its not fair! ..what do I do?

my mum and dad used to dislike me wearing the Niqaab, but now they are adamant on me taking it off for good! saying its dangerous because of this guy!

their reasons are : apparently now poeple will be influenced by the media even more, and its an attack Islam by those who are islamaphobic so it should be avoided drawing attention at these times which the Niqaab apparently does! :(

what do I do to persuade them to let me?

would I be dis-pleasing Allah if I disobey my parents this one time ?

or do I have to take it off ? :eek:

Sis I think it depends if u follow the opinion that its wajib, or that its highly recommended but not a wajib. Because if you don't think it is wajib, but you wanted to wear it as a voluntary extra then because its wajib to obey the parents you might have to remove it but retain ur hijab and jilbab. Its not disobediance to Allah if you are wearing ur hijab and jilbab still, but if you do follow the opinion that is wajib then you keep it on... allahu alam :S

its compulsory to keep the veil therefore u are allowed to disobey ure father n carry on wearing this veil that carrys ure modesty and all. and i will pray for you that Allah makes it easier for you. Remember Allah is testing you..seeing if you take this niqaab off. just tackle those obstructions n people that come in ure way. InshaAllah i will always remember u in my dua :up: :)

Let's say in my situation, I believe it is fardh, and I want to wear it but yet my mom doesnt let me. Should I still listen to her or not?
