Israel Forum (http://www.israelforum.com/board/)
Beat it in everything.

I'm concerned that a few posters here are simply using the board as their personal blog and in so doing are pasting complete articles from other sources. Frankly this is overt copyright violation and you all should be aware of it. It might be comforting to paste in an entire article from a newspaper or a magazine but that is someone else's work product and is subject to use restrictions.
Somebody might rat you out.

Ya, I wonder who might do that?
The Challenge i'm posing is that the way Israel forum is structured, it gives more choices.
The way the color blends, ours (Ummah.com) should be shades of green, for example. When you want to choice any of the sub-Forums, you don't to be directly over the hyperlink, but just point at sub-forum bar (eg General discussion) it highlights and click.
Again the beauty is the ability to relate relevant topics posted by members to any similar topics.
The bottom line is be innovative, creative, and dynamic. Thus challenging the Ummah.com to come out with a winner design.
I hope i'm fully understood?

You have a performance problem but the forum on its own works much the same. You have the same code base, the rest is decoration.

Is the personal icon bogging you down? Some of them here seem to be, uh, elaborate.

Thank Mediocrates.
Not only that (perfomance), but sometimes processes report errors. That is why members makes too many postings of the same topic (thread), and general frustrations.
the rest is decoration
making it more vibrant and addictive. it show that it takes a second or two to get the attention of your clients.
thanks and more inputs please. ideas doesnt hurt.

You really need to create post length limits. Most boards that use this code restrict to 10-15,000 characters per post.

Frequently there is a glitch in your presentation somewhere that creates a fault in shdocvw.dll (5.00.2723.2900) that occurs on "page back" (left arrow) from the browser window but not the in-screen control. I see this in IE5 2314.1003.

Thanks Mediocrates.
If you want a product you should vote for it. meaning people like Mediocrates are interested in Ummah.com' functionality etc, and the only way to show concern is to contribute to the overall improvements.
Your move now.

I've seen that the main page has a facelift for the Month of Ramadhan, Ma Sha Allahu.

i went over into israel forum today
pretty nice site, they all speak peacefully and uniformly and they look at us as backwards neanderthal
pretty much like going to any kafir coffee clatch
so much niceness, no guidance, no truth, nothing of value
but it does leave its posters with a feeling of they are right, and we are wrong

That is the point and more they give relational threads. The quality not content. Again you don't have to point to a forum or thread direct just click on the forum' bar and you are in. Why don't we make this forum shades of green?
