yeah masha allah sheikh efasy recitation is beautiful :) i hav his mp3s on my fone. also that site looks really cool! masha allah. shame they dnt hav longer surahs prepared in that format for learning cos i really cd hav made use of it, but mayb inshallah eventually they will get 2 that

can the surahs on this site be put on "repeat" so they keep repeating themsleves without u having to replay them again and agai n?

I pray in the mosque where Al Afasy leads the prayers, but unfortunately today he couldn't make it so his student took over... I believe his name is Sheikh Jamal, and he is from Saudi... he is probably 22-23 yrs old, and his tajweed and his recitation is as beautiful as Al Afasy.
I recorded a bit of the prayer and will post soon.

hmm.. I don't know about hotbird.. i get it on nilesat as well..
amybe muslim_sis will know more about hotbird, or maybe she has nilesat integrated in her hotbird.

but if you are interested in nasheeds and some live taraweeh, try looking on google video or youtube
