I dont understand Arabic, but is this programme a nasheed singing contest, in which Ahmed Bukhatir is a judge?

yep sis? I only noticed bukhatir 2day..(I watched the repeat cus I miss it due to taraweeh]..but yeh thats the one. 13 singers and 2 voted out a week. I was very disapponited that Ahmad fathi the eggy bro got voted out.

My votes for Muhammad Zaki Allllll the way :D :D ..but they all good mashallah.

Yeah, we watching this yday, nasheeds are really good mashAllah, and theres some really talented bros. I dont know their names yet, but theres this really young lad, with a big smile, i think he is from Yemen, hes really confident.

yeah, exactly, but the judges arent as cruel, they are full of praises for everyone, i dont know about a link though, i was looking for it on google yday, but i didnt know the name of the prog.

Sorry sajid no link. I dont know how they picked these 13 people..they obviously had some kind of auditions and stuff...x factor style..but they didnt show any of that...now every night..these 13 would perform various nasheeds...whether their own or traditional ones from their countries. Viewers are told to vote for their best and at the end of the week...2 are voted out. There are 3 judges..the very well known artists Abu ratib, Abu 3owdah [or something] and from yday..Ahmad Bukhatir. After their weekend performances on stage..the judges would comment on it and give advice if need be. Btw sajid..there are 2 hosts...one of them is the yemeni abdulqadir qowza3 from the album u have 'illallah' :D:D

Urban...yep everynight..weekdays [8pm uk time...although 2day came on at 8.15 :rolleyes: ] and repeated next morning at 12 or 12.30..on weekends..when they do the voting out...I dnt really knw what time..I think bout 7'ish on sat..and repeated sunday afternoon. I watched it today..was well boring :p

MS...I didnt knw they had one last yr. I heard bout sama dubai..they have it this yr too...some kind of competition between the 2..i havent seen sama dubai...but cant be better that munshid al-shariqa...they have sheikhs, asaatitha [teachers] and other good people for guests. Plus they encourage the contestants to do Quran aswell mashallah. :D

ms, the nasheed show comes on sharjah [arabsat..perhaps on hotbird too..not sure]..at 8.15pm everynight except weekends...comes on earlier. And repeats next morning about 12'ish 12.30.

About afasi...cant say ive heard of that channel...we dnt have hotbird nemore..so woudnt knwo.

I am new here and I saw this post.
I have to say that I am OBSESSED with this show.
I really enjoy and love watching it.
I was really sad to see Muhanad and Taher go, they were two of my faves.
I am more suprised that Taher left, he had a really good voice but I guess not too good for the voters.

Yeah cheeky, Muhanad does look like Sami Yusuf. I was thinking the same exact thing when I would watch him.
I have to say that I think Adnan Alhalaq from Syria will win, he isn't my favorite but he has the best voice. Ammar Alazaki from Yemen, Mashallah what a beautiful voice for a young boy like that. Abd Alrahman Buhubaila from Algeria is good too. I love all of them, they are all so good.

Actually cheeky, I watched the episode where Ammar Alazaki said if he wins he'll get married, but he said when he turns 18 he'll get married, which means he is not 18 yet. I am not sure how old is he exactly, but its obvious that he isn't 18 yet. I would think he is 13 or 14 years old, but I am not sure.
Yeah he is engaged. I have to say that he is really confident and smart for his age, but when the time comes to eliminate he gets really nervous, which I am sure all of them get nervous but he is young and even Ali Bobar, they're both young and I think that they are more nervous than the rest of the older guys and can't handle the pressure as well as the others.

Assalamu alaikum habiba..welcome to the forum sis..i pray u have a pleasant stay inshallah :)..Im so sorry for not replying here...have been extremely busy the last week with work, fasting, taraweeh and all...havent even been watching the show lool. About Muhanads nasheed..ill have a look for it as soon as i get time to inshallah or ill give u the link to look on another forum..only prob is its in Arabic..im sure ur more fluent than me :D

Amaar is 18 lol...or 17..yemeni's tend to look way younger than they actually are..trust me. My dad is in his early 40's and he still gets ppl asking him 'so when do u plan on starting a family'...HAHA..dads like 'oh not yet ;)' little do they knw is that my dad has kids already starting their own alhamdulillah.

anyway..have to dash out now..but will look for the nasheed ur after inshallah.

btw...am missing tonights show cus we got khatm al-Quran tonight for taraweeh...dont wana miss that. Will also miss 2mo's repeat :( but am pretty sure someone will record and post on inshad.com :D

I really do think that Adnan Alhalaq will win the competition, Mashallah he has a beautiful voice.
Just for your info, you know that syrian show called "Bab Alhara" it comes on Syria channel and Qatar, Adnan Alhalaq is one of the singers for the theme song of that show, they even write it when the credits go up at the end.
In Inshad forums, they even confirmed that it is him!
I just that you guys would like to know!

They will announce the winner on Eid which is Monday Inshallah.

I did what u say but it was hard.. I read it very slowly and I have school, plus I go tarawih... so my day goes like that: finish from school at 3 taking 2 buses home, so I'll be home at 4 then help my mum(I have to) to 5.. and at 5 I go and read the quran sometimes 2 hourse maybe I get done 1 juz sometimes not.. and it will be a big problem if I had some homework.. and to 6 30 we break your fast and eat.. after eating I go to tarawih.. so a really busy day... we finish tarawih at 11 and I have to sleep then, but all of this and I completed it once.. I dont think I can do it twice..

Today's episode was really good, they kept me on the tip of my toes when they were announcing in order and I was SHOCKED when Adnan Alhalaq came in last! WOW! Especially after Mutasim Alasali came in 4th
I was like "Ammar has a chance to win!" and I was so HAPPY that he won, I jumped for joy. Actually my whole family were very happy, we were all screaming and cheering.
I wanted Ammar to win from the very begining but I have to be honest, I didn't think he would win, I thought Adnan Alhalaq would win.
Did you guys see the disappointment on Adnan's and Mutasim's faces????
They were so suprised!

To tell u the truth thi was my predicted order: mutasim syria, halaaq syria, abdurahman Algeria, Ali oman, then amaar yemen. BUT instead it was Amaar yemen, abdurahman algeria, ali oman, mutasim syria @ numb 4 then halaaq numb 5 :|

You know what? There is going to be disppointment regardless if Ammar won or not. If someone else won say like Ali Bobar or someone else, everyone is going to be disappointed that their "favorite" didn't win and they will post their comments.

I am so HAPPY that Ammar won. I got teary when they announced he is the winner. He was my favorite through this whole thing.
Adnan and Mutasim were TOO confident especially Mutasim. They should've expected ANYTHING to happen!
You think Ammar was confident that he was going to win? I don't think so. I think he was smart enough to know that anything could happen.

argh urban...it was repeated today...and the yowmiyat came on..as in the interviews before and after the show. Amaar was asked BEFORE the show...what place would u get from 1st to 5th..and as a joke he was like 1st place..100% we all laughed. Amaar has this thing where when they announce results..it seriously looks as if he is about to faint cus he is that nerveous! On the last day he couldnt stand still. For urban...ill tell u how it was announced. All the links ive tried are not working cus hundreds of people have been dowloading that it times out or something..anyway. this is what happened:
Muhammad Khalaf gets the 5 guys to stand together...in a line, then calls the judges to come on stage including sheikh Mishary bin rashid al-afasy.
1st envelope given to abul-jood who opens it and face literally turns like :| he was wellll shocked. He announced..5th place is ADNAN AL-HALLAQ(syria)...u could tell by adnans reaction he was shocked..very shocked. not as shocked as the next person! Next envelope given to Abu ratib..who announced MUTASIM BILLAH (syria) as 4th person...Mutasims reaction was very very noticable..he was extremely shocked and very annoyed and angry and all these emotions! Next envelope was to announce 2nd place NOT 3rd place and was given to Ahmad Bukhatir...who announced AbDURAHMAN (algeria) as 2nd..crowd went mad!!! Last person to announce was mishary..was told to announce 3rd THEN 1st. He opened the envelope and then announced ALI (Oman)as 3rd...crowd went mad cus from that they gathered Amaar was 1st. This is the part were we all went madddd too lool..my younger sibs and their mates and mums and all went mad jumping up and down, screaming, cheering hehe..wicked mashallah. Amaar was over the moon with happiness..he went into sujood right there on the stage and made shukr to Allah and carried on praising Allah thru out. When asked after the show if he really did believe he was going to be 1st...he said he was only like 30% sure lol..and wasnt expecting 1st place. Ali was happy with 3rd as was abdurahman with 2nd. The 4th and 4th places were ok...very shaken and shocked..but praised Allah because it was all qadar.

erm what else happened...oh all 13 came..as in all those who were previously voted out returned to sharjah for a final finale together mashallah..a nasheed on ramadhan.

All the judges had a nasheed each to sing. Mishary sang his nasheed 'ill salati' and used omani Ali as a the kid in the vid to sing with him..sounded wicked mashallah. Also sang tala3al badru again...beautiful mashallah.

Hmm...I thing that was basically what happened lol. Sorry the links dont work...ive tried them all...all have the same prob. I doubt they will repeat again..they already had repeat this morning.

Cheeky, my family reacted the same way. We all screamed and cheered with happiness. I literally jumped out of the sofa and said "YES YES YES!!"
We were so excited.
This Eid was extra special for me. I don't think that I will ever forget it.
I wanted Ammar to win from the very begining and for him to actually win was VERY EXCITING for me.

I missed the "Yomiyat Alsharjah". Darn it. I really wanted to see Ammar speak and get his reactions after he won. Does anyone have a video of the "yomiyat alsharjah"??

I cant believe that Ammar won!! Abdulrahman should have been the first, Bobar 2nd, and then Mutasim Billah. There is no way that Ammar is better than Abdulrahman or Bobar. There is a rumor that the Yemini cell phone companies send messages into phones so people can vote for Ammar.

That is so funny how rumors start!
Even if that rumor was true, there is nothing illegal about that. It was the votes that counted. We knew all along that the winner will be chosen based on the votes so everyone should have expected anything to happen.
You know what? Don't blame the Yemenis and don't blame Ammar, blame yourselves!!!!
Obviously, people who voted for Ammar were much more than the rest of the voters of the munshideen. About the Yemeni cell phone companys sending messages, people all over the world were with Ammar, not just Yemenis.
Ammar won fair and square by "votes".
He has a great voice, Mashallah!
I think people are not giving him credit because he is young. If he was older like the other munshideen, people wouldn't be this harsh. Everyone has their own opinion. I think even if Ali Bobar won, we would hear the same disappointment because he is young too. For example, Ammar and Taher were my favorites of the whole competition and then when Taher was voted out, I was sad because he has a great voice, Mashallah, so when he got out I was SUPRISED! but I knew then that this is a competition based on who gets the most votes, not who sings the best notes.
Besides, maybe this is a lesson for others like Adnan and Mutasim that they shouldn't be too confident of themselves. Allah is the All-Knowing!

My favourite has always been Ammar and I am not from yemen, and then I I really liked Bobar to come the second cuz he has a very nice and tuching voice, I didnt really like abdul rahman to be second cuz he has a really heavy voice and should always be in the background:D Thats my opinion
Taher has a really nice voice and if we compare between him and abdul rahman we all know who has the better voice. its my opinion anyway and again as sister habiba said dont blame the yemenis for the results!

I was really suprised when abdulrahman came second.

3. Adnan

There was a show 2day...Muhammad Khalaf and the 2 judges Abu Ratib and Abul-jood..and they were discussing what happened on the last day..how they results literally were changing till the last second..because the voting lines didnt close at all..and how its qadar that Amaar had won. People were calling in complaining that Amaar shouldnt have won [i only heard the 1st caller..] duno what the rest said..but it made me angry..ok get over it already..so what! The judges said they accept amaar as the winner but might have to change the rules for the coming years and i agree...the last show should be judged with no votes imho...atleast then no1 can complain. Haha.. i finally get what ppl were saying bout the yemeni telephone company..that they were sendin messages voting for amaar..what a joke LOL.

Anyway allow that!
I wanted Muhammad Zaki or Tahir to be number 1 :p I wont go into the top 5 lol.

I think the two voices that were really incredible and really deserved winning were Abdelrahman the algerian and almutassim the syrian, they have very strong voices, they have a remarkable talent.

The boys were OK, I think I am glad they won in a way, a sort of encouragement for them, shaab nasha'ah fi taa'at illaah, you know? But they don't hold a candle to the above voices.

All in all, it doesnt really matter, it needs more than just voice to get people's attention, as Bukhatir said, abdelrahman sang ummi even better than he did, he varied the tone and pitch of his voice,

but anyone who hears bukhatir's ummi will realise immediately why he is the more famous, his voice haunts you

He said since Adnan and Mutasim were both from Syria, the votes from the Syrians was obviously split into Adnan and Mutasim. Unlike Ammar, Ali, and Abdurahman were the only ones from their country, therefore, they got all of their people from their country's votes for them, making them the top 3 and Mutasim and Adnan were number 4 and 5 because the Syrian votes were split between them, instead of to just going to one person. It makes total sense to me!
Muhammad Khalaf said that they will allow only 1 person from each country to compete next time to make it more fair.
They wanted to do the show to make it very clear that nothing illegal happened and Ammar won based on the viewer's votes and that the voting didn't end until the last moment and the voters for Ammar were still voting til the very end which rapidly changed and which led to Ammar's win.
I think Ammar has a great voice, mashallah and he deserved to win. Honestly, they all have great voices, mashallah so any one of them would've deserved it.

There are some poor countries like, with very very poor people so how can they vote for their countries munshid?? I think people should vote for the best voice and not depending on country as what happened to Taha.. he went out cuz not many voted for him.. Every one said he had a talented voice:(

The television clashes with the whole of ramadan, but there were some cool programmes, amr khalid and ayed alqirani on Iqra, and the nass channel with mohamed hassan.

But I never watched the shariqa channel except the day of Eid, if I am going to listen then I listen to quran, it is better to fill your hearts with Quran rather than nasheeds during ramadan, but I am an oldie from the post on ages here, you're all mostly teenagers? maa shaa Allah- so I guess that's the generation gap.

The only things i watched during ramadhan was Amr khaleds bismika na7ya show on iqra..we watched that while we had our suhoor and i would often catch the repeat of munshid al-sharjah and sometimes the begining of the quran show on yemen channel before we went for taraweeh. Otherwise i didnt really follow anything...only if I happened to be there while it was on.

awwabah is the feminine of awab, awab is a person who is oft repenting, he no sooner makes a mistake than he quickly remembers Allah and seeks forgiveness, his iman decreases a bit and he immediately realises this and seeks Allah to increase it. Oft returning that's what it means.


Do you know the duaa you make when travelling and are returning home? The one you say directly after subhaana Allathi sakharah lana hatha?

it's ayiboun, taa'iboun, a3abidoun, lirabina haamidoun.



then of course there are all the prophets that Allah has specified as awwabeen, the majority are in surat saad ayah 17 and 19

not saying I am an awwabah, I just hope to be one in shaa Allah :embar:

arabic needs practice, one way to increase it is to listen to lectures, khutab, loads and loads, you gain in knowledge and you gain in arabic, there are some cool lectures, like Ayed Alqirani and others like him

For me, the timing was perfect. Since I am in America, the show would come around 2:30 pm, it was after dhuhr prayer and it would end right before asr prayer, so for me it was perfect. It didn't interrupt my taraweeh or anything so that is why I watched almost every single episode, LOL!, I did miss a few episodes at the beginning though.

I love anasheed, but mostly, I can't understand them, I understand a few here and there but they are too hard for me. Does anyone have the same problem?

Yes, I did watch it. It was awesome. It was really cool seeing Yemen being broadcast on Sharjah channel. I think Islam (the host) suited him well with the janbiya, LOL.

Sorry sajid no link. I dont know how they picked these 13 people..they obviously had some kind of auditions and stuff...x factor style..but they didnt show any of that...now every night..these 13 would perform various nasheeds...whether their own or traditional ones from their countries. Viewers are told to vote for their best and at the end of the week...2 are voted out. There are 3 judges..the very well known artists Abu ratib, Abu 3owdah [or something] and from yday..Ahmad Bukhatir. After their weekend performances on stage..the judges would comment on it and give advice if need be. Btw sajid..there are 2 hosts...one of them is the yemeni abdulqadir qowza3 from the album u have 'illallah' :D:D

Yeh urban, the young one 'Amaar' is yemeni lol..he's 18 and looks 12...he's also engaged! mashallah....in the 1st week he told everyone that if he won..then the 1st thing he would do is get married :D and invited all 13 contestants...he almost fainted when they 1st called his name out yday to tell him he was not voted out :D :D. The other young one, Ali from Oman is also very very talented mashallah.

no no habibah isnt spreading the rumours..she's being sarcastic..people have spread those rumours though. Anyway all that is old news....amaar's album is due to be released within 2 weeks max inshallah..no idea where..deffo yemen perhaps shrjah too so we might get to see it lol. And the other artists are releasing albums too in their countries and as far as im aware their nasheeds will be aired on sharjah TV.

Yday bandar ashoor and Muhammad zaki hosted an eid show...people from all over the world were calling in and wishing them a happy eid and all. Plus all 12 [and one over the phone from egypt] did sang some nasheeds.

Lol...i always think of u and habibah when any of this comes up...where i am..everyone sends out texts when anything interesting is on...so i always get texts from diff ppl for munshid al-sharjah stuff. Last night, 16 new contestants were chosen to take part in the upcoming Munshid al-sharjah for this coming Ramadhan. The winners from the various countries were called and congratulated for being selected to take part. This year, unlike the last 2 years...singers from Palestine and Lybia will be taking part aswell.
