As Salaamu Alaikum sis

Sorry to hear about your father, may ALLAH swt grant him paradise.

I just felt like saying that :( so for your question about touching his face I have no idea but check this site. (www.islamweb.net) Insha ALLAH.

I am no authority on the subject but first of all let me say that I am sorry for your loss of your father. Insha'allah he will be admitted to Jannah where you will see him again.
I believe that you were in a state of grief and not truly in your right mind when this occured. Islam makes allowances for mental illness and the loss of someone close will definately induce such a state. Your father is blameless IMHO and so are you.
I am not sure about the tears on the shroud but to be safe, ask an Imam.
May allah make your burden ease and your heart lighten.

Ina li lahi wa ina ilahi raja'uun. May Allah forgive your father's sins and illuminate his grave ameen. Oh Allah have mercy on his soul, ameen.

The prophet (saw) cried when his son died. You cried out of mercy.

Teoma mashaAllah ur words are enlightening.
