we drove a 61 landrover all the way from the top of Australia to Melbourne. We arrived in Melbourne feeling like the beverly hill billies and probably looked it too :D Actually for you aussies that trip was a real "ask the Leyland brothers" experience and the old trusty car was the best bit of the whole trip.

She died when we arrived in Melbourne, but came back to life with no help from us again 9 months later when we drove north again..( we had bought a much younger suburu to replace her.. she obviously had other ideas.. hehe for all you wanabe Aussies.. I think this tells you that north is best :) She's long gone now.. but she sure saw more of Australia than most people and we were fortunate to be part of her adventures for about 4 years. :) .. and yes, she was older than anyone in our family (almost ;) )

By gregorian calender you are already young by around 12 days a year compared to hijri calender .
