I would say that the av's sometimes give us a good insight into the character of the poster. We already have rules on av's and this would put the mods in the category of art critics. They have enough to do here without deciding that. Besides, what seems childish to you may be very relevant and personal to someone else

No, you cant just ban avatars which YOU dont like, i would have thought rules would be in place where avatars are only banned for the following reasons

1) Rude, obscene or offensive

Well thats all i can think of, but you cant ban becuase someone in the forum is being childish about things and dont like other peoples avatars. come on!!! I dont mean to be offensive but i have to speak out when something is unfair onto others
