Dear SAFA GIG employee,:)

Hope this Post reaches you in good health, it’s the Thursday newsletter you all have eagerly been anticipating and I shall discuss the recent developments at SAFA GIG with you all.

First of all we have the SAFA GIG awards party, those of you who are receiving a prize, I would request that you dress in a sensible fashion and no piercings /fake tattoos or even hair clips in beards are allowed. The word one requires is formal- Islamically formal.

Men and women will be segregated and those confused regarding their gender should stay at home.
There will be a selection of nasheeds from TABALA to TABALA and if there is any more space then TABALA will be played. Basically TABALA will be played in a loop, food will be served but that depends on the catering company- I have not booked one nor intend to- so this means it will most likely be ‘self catering’ i.e bring your own food.

The award ceremony will last the same duration as an ASR prayer and people are required to be non-asian for once and turn up on time, the ceremony is at 3PM on Friday 15th September (well really it’s at 4PM but for those asians who always arrive late, this is a wake up call and surprise).

Local mayor of ‘tree for thee’ sis Nawar will be present so any complains regarding SAFA GIG or the virtual la la land should be kept between employees lest the Mayor hears about it.

I am placing two security guards- Sis QC and Sis Muslimah85 outside the doors to ensure that Br theMod does not gatecrash- although we will know he is in the area by the stench of fish. We will all be alerted- whoever has kittens or cats as pets, please bring them this will ensure bonus pay.

I am also promoting sis Ebony to team member, she will have responsibility to build, design and decorate the new sister’s department and if she has time then will design my apartment.

I am very delighted to see SAFA GIG grow hour by hour and day by day. It is very pleasing to see something which once was a brainchild of Ms IG aka Ms Shah aka Ms Fatima into a fully established corporate enterprise under the auspice leadership of myself. The long awaited AWARD CEREMONY will be tomorrow at 3pm (4pm asian mean time) on the blessed day of Jummah. It is the JUMA newsletter that you have all been eagerly anticipating for and InshaAllah I shall not disappoint- I shall make this brief as many of you would have left writing your acceptance speeches to read this highly addictive newsletter. Yes we are moving to a newer building and this is the social highlight of the year for many of you but I would request people take only what they need into the new offices- the amount of junk I have clumsily tripped over this week made me realise the ‘health and safety’ issue at our new building will be far far stricter and to avoid court cases and fines we must be good law abiding citizens.

I would also like to take to take this opportunity to say JazakhAllahu Khair to you- I know probably I’m the only person here who puts my heart on a post but I am truly grateful for all these laughs/jokes/knowledge/happiness we all share as an ummah- you probably won’t understand what it means to me- I log on at work and it’s like the light at a bleary minute. You guys truly mean a lot to me and I respect you all so much for it- I know I’m everyone’s little sister but one day I might actually grow up :eek: till then the fun remains InshaAllah.

You know I started laughing out loud reading this thread and one of my colleges looked at me- I think this thread is so funny, we really have treated SAFA GIG seriously and when I see how serious Br Salman_Al_Farsi treats it, it cracks me up again… freshen up for award ceremony… nap, seriously it’s just too funny. :p

People say this thread is a waste of forum bandwidth but I bet they read most of these replies, even laughed at a few and found them amusing- I wanna know one person whose read this thread and not smiled/laughed at any post? … it’s too darn funny!

And there’s nothing behayaa about it, we’re not doing anything wrong, sure some people are too strict but this thread has abided by the ‘Islamic laws’ – probably the only thread which didn’t descend into a fight or upset anyone on this forum esp. since it became very popular.

To me I just wanna help my Ummah out and they help me out- we share jokes, smile, laugh, ease each others pain and sadness and also reflect and think as well.

Allah knows best but I will try and work in a Muslim country and if I can own one or own it with someone else then I will invest in it… why? Because there are too many advantages… Wudhu facility, prayer facility, days off for Eid rather than xmas, Ramadan considerations, segregation esp. when travelling up and down the country. It’s a beautiful thought and one that if enough Muslims put their minds and hearts to they can achieve it.

It’s true all day I am stuck with non Muslims, they are nice- but they constantly invite me to parties, pubs and all that- I said it 2 times today I don’t drink- they said you don’t need to. Going on about xmas do’s and how it’s a ‘laugh’ . I even am having problems with a guy at work as well despite wearing Hidjaab and lowering my gaze.

I find doing my Wudhu difficult but remain silent, I have to share the brother’s prayer room as there is no prayer room for sisters here but I don’t complain- I worked out an arrangement. I don’t get anyone giving me salaams and shut my mouth as soon as InshaAllah comes out and kick myself cuz the non Muslim looks at me strangely. I am going to be spending Ramadan basically alone and breaking it on my own- I don’t want people’s pity but understanding.

You know how inspiring and hopeful it is to read and plan that Muslim company transit? Even if it is virtual world? It’s your mental thoughts and feelings. when I'm ill at work or sad, i log onto Ummah esp this thread to connect with fellow Muslims and to feel a bit of ease. A few minutes on Ummah brighten my hour- even if this is all fake it's a dream- a dream that doesn't hurt anyone and gives me that feeling of belonging.

Allah gave me this Ummah, why should I not be happy with it? :)

After viewing this oh so delightful thread which we not only use for our SAFA GIG newsletter and also our new website, I feel it is vital to employ you (so you don't squeek about copyright issues and sue us :p)

Your vote was also a very critical deciding factor and we have decided to place your office next to the Brother's toilets, I would also like to put you on gurad duty and give you a pricless duff- courtesy of SAFA GIG :D

Dear Member,

It is the Thursday newsletter you all have been anticipating for and I would not like you to hold your belated breaths any longer. Yes I am writing this at work but I cannot post this until I reach home InshaAllah.

It is with great joy that we have reached our new offices, albeit a bit imported but Alhamdulillah we have reached here safe and sound. I have been extremely busy with painting and varnishing (the walls not my nails! :p ) and I am pleased with the progress of SAFA GIG although daily posts have been quite low.

I am also quite distressed to read Br Arsalan’s attempt at blackmailing us- one of the most prestigious online IT company. I find it saddening to find that instead of using his role at SAFA GIG to grow emotionally, mentally and happily he has decided to show his true colours.. an unhinged man with greed in his eyes for reps.

We will not ands I repeat NOT give into his demands and any threats from him are baseless, soundless and just kid’s play, I urge all fellow colleges to keep a vigilant eye and do not attempt to walk on your own (yes even MP3 as companion does not count) if one has to go to the car park, have at least one of the two bodyguards- twiddle dum or twiddle dee as escorts, if one has to sleep in the loo, ensure the door is locked. Even if one has to run to the top floor to buy snickers, then drill a hole on the ceiling, so the vending machine can come down to you.

This man is extremely dangerous and is a mental loony on the run from men in white coats. He has discarded his straight jacket and opted to pursue our company. If he does not stop his relentless campaign to bring SAFA GIG down (HA what folly!) then I will pursue him myself armed with the latest gadgets… a lawnmower, a saw, some deadly Hidjaab pins and old vinyl record disks (great for throwing and slicing the neck of the opponent).

Fear not we can beat this InshaAllah.

BR Arsalan be warned, either back down or face the consequences.

Assalam Alaykum Dear lovely SAFA GIG Colleagues and Supporters.

Good Morning and Jummah Mubarak

Its everyone's favourite day and we have a few announcements and SAFA GIG updates:

Firstly, as you all know our most senior member of Staff MS IG has been under alot of pressure lately with her access to ummah being taken away at work and so on. However under such harsh conditions Ms IG has proven her dedication and love for both Ummah and Ummah's most prestigous enterprise SAFA GIG.

I cant say the same about Mr Guvna who has been quiet absent from SAFA GIG duties but we still love him.

Arslan Enterprises Ltd, a nobody recently tried to take your truely SAFA GIG to Shariah district court in a plan to gain cheap publicity for itself. Although SAFA GIG pays no attention to small timers seeking cheap publicity, nonetheless we felt it is our duty to respond appropriately, however Arslan Enterprise shyed away from discussion and diologue and resorted to violent threats. Even though the most recent letter of Ms IG to Arslan Enterprise may be final nail in the cuffin, however I on behalf of Safa Gig share the same concerns as Ms IG regarding health and safety of our collegues, so please please take extereme caution in all threads. Please do not repond to nor make any public statements re: Arslan Enterprise in any other thread and report immediately to myself, Ms IG or Mr Guvna who will deal with the issue.

Moving on, last few weeks have been great for SAFA GIG, we have recieved tremendous support from our clients and customers who have shown their deep love and confidence in SAFA GIG. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who participated in the poll.

New Member of Staff: I would like to announce that Ms Veilofmysoul aka Ms Veily has now been appointed full time member of SAFA GIG. She has successfully completed her induction and she will very soon be designated important tasks soon as Ms IG can be bothered.

Over the next few days SAFA GIG will be bidding for its new home in one of the forum sections:
