i watch my gaze, but now its getting out of hand, there are times ive had to masturbate 4 times a day! but now i think that i am going to lose my chastity when i start school this semester. dont get me wrong i dont even have a single friend thats a girl, no one i talk to or anything but i feel that if i get a chance to i will take it :(, ive tried everything:(

If you cannot marry at this moment in time then fast.. this has been advised by the prophet (SAW).. fast every day if you have to..
But don't you dare go near a girl.. You will regret it for the rest of your life..
Who is more important to you. Allah (SWT) or your desires (that are driven by shaytaan)?? Think about the pleasures of paradise and how it is worth the patience..

I masturbate sometimes 3 times a days as well, I don't how to cure this problem, all the asian girls don't feel attracted to me, they would rather marry a very fair skinned guy with blue/green eyes :confused.

and it is true all the muslim girls now adays are into like Unislamic people! not all of them of course. but you know what, this is just truly depressing.

As has been mentioned elsewhere, fasting is a recommended solution to this. Also try and keep your wudhu brothers at all times - it will help guard you against temptations. Above all, engage in prayer, and seek advice from your parents about the possibility of getting married. :)

I have just been reading the above posts. It is very sad that we want to admit that we masturbate (not me). Firstly it is wrong to tell all about this even on Ummah. For example I know many of the brothers and sisters on Ummah personally so image how I would feel if one of the people just put a post up saying that they masturbate? Not very easy about it I can tell you.
That survey thing its rubbish we as Muslims should not be masturbating in the first place. If you go around and point out these surveys Muslims will start to think that is it okay to masturbate.
What they will not tell you in these surveys is that masturbating messes up your private parts and over a long period of time some people have even lose the usability for this part. When people get married who use to masturbate a lot beforehand have problems at times while having relations with their wife. These are just few of the problems that people have come across.
Like one of the brothers above said about prayer and fasting. You have to pray and fast as mush as you can. Do not take this lightly my dear brothers. To masturbate is haraam like any other haraam thing you have to stay away as mush as you can.
What we come to see is that those who masturbate start to masturbate even when the need is not there. This is because the devil is now playing on your mind. Make sure you have wudu all the time and keep remembering Allah (swt) all the time.
Now Ramadhan is near this is a good time for you to sort this out for yourself.
I can carry on and on here but im sure you have got the message. It is haraam and keep away from it.

Women Of Jannah
"(These women will be delicate and pure as if) they were preserved eggs." (37:49) In his tafseer called ruhul mani Allamah Alusi explains that the verse refers to those eggs which human hands have not yet touched, so they are clean from any dirt or dust. In the same way, the hurs will be clean and free of all impurities. The comparision between the hurs and eggs is also made because of the yellow whitish colour of both, which is known to be the most beautiful skin colour for women. Another explanition for this comparision is that the parts of an egg are known for being perfectly proportioned and conforming to one another. In the same way, all the body parts and features of the hurs will go perfectly toghther."
Sai'd bin Amir Ra says that he heard Rasool SAW saying, "If a woman from jannat were to look towards the world, she would fill the earth with the smell of musk and (her beauty) would overpower the light of the sun and moon." Tabarani, Baazar
Ibn Abbas Ra narrates that we were sitting with Ka'b Ra one day and he said, "If the hand of one hur were to dangle from the sky, the whiteness and the rings of the hand woul illiminate the earth just as the sun gives light to the world. What I said was just regarding her hand, so how beautiful will her white face be when it is adorned with a crown, ruby, pearl and emerald." Ibn Abi Dunya
"And the people of jannat will have full breasted women who will be equal in age" 78:33
The breasts of these women will be round like pomegranates and they will never sag down because these women will never become old." (Hadiyul arwah 267)
Anas Ra narrates that Rasool SAW said, "The hurs of jannat will sing, "We are beautiful women who have been given to honorable husbands." Tabrani
Muadh Ra narrates that Rasool SAW saud, "If any woman troubles her husband in the world, his wife from among the hurs says to her, "Dont bother him, what is wrong with you! He is only a temporary guest by you, and he will soon leave you and come to us." Tirmidhi, Abu dawood.
Abdur Rahman bin Sabit Ra said, "Definitely, a person in jannat will marry 500 hurs, 4,000 virgins and 8,000 previously married women. He will have sexual intercourse with each one for as aslong as he lived in this world." Bayhaqi
Abu Hurayrah Ra narrates that Rasool SAW was asked, "Will we have sexual intercourse with our wives in jannat?" He answered, " A person will have sexual intercourse with 100 virgins in one morning." Abu Ya'la, Bayhaqi, Tabrani, Bazar
Muammed ibn Ka'b al- Qurazi narrates from a person of the Ansar that Rasool SAW said, "I take a oath of that being who sent me with the turth, you are not more acquainted with your wives and houses than the people of jannat. A person of jannat will come to 72 wives which Allah specially created in jannat and 2 humans wives. The human wives will have virtue over the (hurs) because they worshipped Allah in the world. He will come to the first of his wives in a room made of rubies. (They will be on a) bed made of gold which is adorned with pearls. This bed will be made of 70 different types of silk. He will place his hand between her two shoulders and he will see his hand through her clothes, skin, and flesh. He will see the marrow of her leg just as a person can see the thread inside a ruby. His inside will be a reflection of her and her inside will be a reflection of him. He will be in this condition; he will not become bored of her and she will necome bored of him. Every time he comes to her, he will find her to be a virgin. His sexual organ will not tire and her sexual organ will not experience any difficulty. (While he is in this condition), someone will announce, "We have known that you will not get bored and you will not make her bored. Both the man and woman will not experience ejaculation of sperm. You will have other wives besides her." He will go to the other wives one by one. Whenever he will go to a wife, she will say to him, "I swear by Allah, there is nothing in jannat more beloved to me than you." Abu Ya'la... SubhanAllah!
Kathir Ibn Murrah says, "Amongst the extra boundies of jannat (reffering to a verse of the quran which says , " And we have extra by Us (for the people of jannat)" is a cloud which will come over the inhabitants of jannat. The cloud will say to them, "What do you wish that I raim upon you?" Whatever they wish for will be rained upon them." Kathir said, "If Allah gives me the opportunity, I will definitely ask the cloud to rain for me beautiful women." Ibn Abi Dunya.
Zayd bin Arqam Ra reports that a jew came to Rasool SAW and said, "O Abul Qasim, you cliam that the people jannat will eat and drink." Rasool SAW said, "By the oath of that being in whose hands my life is, every person in jannat will be given the power 100 men in eating, drinking, and sexual intercourse." Tirmidhi, Ahmad, bazar, Nasai
Abu Hurayrah Ra narrates that Rasool SAW was asked, "Will we have sexual intercourse with our wives in jannat?" He answered, "A person will have sexual intercourse with 100 virgins in one morning." Abu Ya'la, Bayhaqi, Tabrani, Bazar.
Abu Hurayrah Ra narrates that Rasool SAW was asked, "Will we have sexual intercourse in jannat?" He answered, "By the oath that being in whose hands my life is, yes. (Sexual intercourse will be with) hard pushes. When one of us completes the task of intercourse with his wife, she will once become a virgin and a pure woman." Ibn Hibban
Haytham at- Tai and Salim bin A'mir relate that Rasool SAW was asked regarding sexual intercourse in jannat. He said, "It will be with a powerful desire and a penis which does not tire. Definitely, a person will have sex with a woman for 40 years. (During this time) he will not move away and nor will he tire. He will have sexual intercourse as much as his soul desires and his eyes will find pleasure in." Harth bin Usamah, Ibn Abi Hatim.

I have a question which I am shy to ask but another sister who has come to Islam recently wants an answer to and I do not have an answer (with dilals from the Qur'an and Sunnah). I hope you can help and I hope Allah will for give me if it is inappropriate but as Muslims we should never be shy in seeking knowledge. Her question was "Is it permissible in Islam to masturbate?".
May Allah increase us all in knowledge.
Answer:
Praise be to Allaah.
Masturbation (for both men and women) is haraam (forbidden) in Islam based on the following evidence:
First from the Qur’aan:
Imam Shafi’i stated that masturbation is forbidden based on the following verses from the Qur’aan (interpretation of the meaning):
"And those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts). Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, - for them, they are free from blame. But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors." 23.5-7 Here the verses are clear in forbidding all illegal sexual acts (including masturbation) except for the wives or that their right hand possess. And whoever seeks beyond that is the transgressor.
"And let those who find not the financial means for marriage keep themselves chaste, until Allah enriches them of His bounty." 24.33. This verse also clearly orders whoever does not have the financial means to marry to keep himself chaste and be patient in facing temptations (including masturbation) until Allah enriches them of His bounty.
Secondly, from the sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him):
Abdullaah ibn Mas’ood said, "We were with the Prophet while we were young and had no wealth whatsoever. So Allaah’s Messenger said, "O young people! Whoever among you can marry, should marry, because it helps him lower his gaze and guard his modesty (i.e. his private parts from committing illegal sexual intercourse etc.), and whoever is not able to marry, should fast, as fasting diminishes his sexual power." Bukhari:5066. The hadeeth orders men who are not able to marry to fast despite the hardship encountered in doing so, and not to masturbate despite the ease with which it can be done.
There are additional evidences that can be cited to support this ruling on masturbation, but due to the limited space we will not go through them here. Allaah knows what is best and most correct.
As for curing the habit of masturbation, we recommend the following suggestions:
1) The motive to seek a cure for this problem should be solely following Allaah’s orders and fearing His punishment.
2) A permanent and quick cure from this problem lies in marriage as soon as the person is able, as shown in the Prophet’s hadeeth.
3) Keeping oneself busy with what is good for this world and the hereafter is essential in breaking this habit before it becomes second nature after which it is very difficult to rid oneself of it.
4) Lowering the gaze (from looking at forbidden things such as pictures, movies etc.) will help suppress the desire before it leads one to commit the haraam (forbidden). Allaah orders men and women to lower their gaze as shown in the following two verses and in the Prophet’s hadeeth (interpretations of the meanings):
"Tell the believing men to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things) and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts, etc.). That is purer for them. Verily, Allah is all-aware of what they do. And tell the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things) and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts, etc.) ..... " 24.30-31
Allaah’s messenger said: "Do not follow a casual (unintentional) look (at forbidden things) with another look." Al-Tirmidhi 2777. This is a general instruction by the Prophet to abstain from all that may sexually excite a person because it might lead him/her to commit the haraam (forbidden).
5) Using one’s available leisure time in worshipping Allaah and increasing religious knowledge.
6) Being cautious not to develop any of the medical symptoms that may result from masturbation such as weak eyesight, weak nervous system, and/or back pain. More importantly, feeling of guilt and anxiety that can be complicated by missing obligatory prayers because of the need to shower (ghusl) after every incidence of masturbation.
7) Avoiding the illusion that some youth have that masturbation is permissible because it prevents them from committing illegal sexual acts such as fornication or even homosexuality.
8) Strengthening one’s willpower and avoiding spending time alone as recommended by the Prophet when he said "Do not spend the night alone" Ahmad 6919.
9) Following the Prophet’s aforementioned hadeeth and fast when possible, because fasting will temper one’s sexual desire and keep it under control. However, one should not overreact and swear by Allaah not to return to the act because if one does not honor one’s promise, one would be facing the consequences of not living up to one’s oath to Allaah. Also, note that medication to diminish one’s sexual desire is strictly prohibited because it might permanently affect one’s sexual ability.
10) Trying to follow the Prophet’s recommendation concerning the etiquette of getting ready for bed, such as reading well-known supplications, sleeping on the right side, and avoiding sleeping on the belly (the Prophet forbade sleeping on the belly).
11) Striving hard to be patient and chaste, because persistence will eventually, Allaah willing, lead to attaining those qualities as second nature, as the Prophet explains in the following hadeeth:
"Whoever seeks chastity Allaah will make him chaste, and whoever seeks help from none but Allaah, He will help him, and whoever is patient He will make it easy for him, and no one has ever been given anything better than patience." Bukhari:1469.
12) Repenting, asking forgiveness from Allaah, doing good deeds, and not losing hope and feeling despair are all prerequisites to curing this problem. Note that losing hope is one of the major sins punishable by Allaah.
13) Finally, Allaah is the Most Merciful and He always responds to whoever calls on Him. So, asking for Allah’s forgiveness will be accepted, by His will.
Wallahu a’lam. And Allah knows what is best and most correct.

Oh, it's a sin for sure, but you can't fast all the time. For instance, I work in heavy labor, lifting boxes, would I be expected to fast everyday if I was in this guys position? (which I'm not, remember that.) Also consider that this guy is a student, he can't fast everyday without it affecting his schoolwork.
My suggestion: he convert to shiism and practice muta' marriage.

Stay away from Munkarat, even the most little of evils.
Spend your time in reading the Quran, Hadith and Islamic books. On issues other than sexuality.
Try to keep yourselves busy whether sports, with good friends etc.
Do not remain alone as this is the time the shaytan is most active.
The more Ibada you can do the less you will think about sexual activity and it will thus lower your desire.
Your age has allot to do with it, so does the weather and what you eat.
Avoid foods that are warm in their essence, such as nuts etc.
Eat moderately, and drink allot of water.
Fast plenty.
Sleep on thin mat on the floor.
Increase your Tahajud.
Avoid thinking about it too much.
These are things that help, however, the real solution is marriage, because when you are married. If the desi girls have lost the plot find a girl from another culture. Saying that, i know everyone in any group cant be bad.

Subhan Allah, i feel ashamed, but i feel that somewhere someone made dua and Allah almighty has accepted. I found that i am FAR away from this now, maybe this was Allah swt's choice, but partly because of the embarassment, and partly of feeling diry if i do not have wadu, and partly of watching the movie the message, partly because the prophet saw is alive in his grave, partly because my point of view COMPLETELEY changed after watching the message, i do not feel like commiting zina. Ive started praying, and reading and informing myself more about islam. believe it or not as embarassing as this is, i was becoming a scholar of Islam and i am hafiz, and i left, and i noticed when i left it increased.
My company with the pious ulama decreased my sin, out of fear because i was always informed, and now i find that this is absolutley pointless, it makes me feel sick and dirty. and the prophet saw is alive in his grave, would i do this ON THIS EARTH in which the beloved prophet saw is burried, i cant, its horrible, i would cry. i see, things, that once your iman is high and it goes down, you need a harder pitch to make it go up again. and the closer you get to Allah, the harder he will punish you, thus i came about something in my life, everytime i did it, i would pretty much stay home the next day, and freak out and sit in bed, because i SWEAR to god, everytime i did it, something devastating would happen to me the next day. This is NOT a superstition, Allah tests those whom he loves, and Allah swt punished me for doing something the the prophet of Allah saw cursed.
I work at a very high profiled company, HINT HINT one of the WORLDS GREATEST phone manufacturers. and so your not allowed to express religion there, yet i still am able to pray Alhamdulillah, i also look really awkward because my pants are always above my ankles alhamdulillah, and i find that controling your gaze is NOT in your control but in the control of Allah. So sit down and ask Allah sincerly with your heart, recognizing in even a atom size amount of WHO Allah swt is, and Allah will not deny you.
I will admit, i am human, and i ALHAMDULILLAH was never raised to look at womens bodys, but it was the face for me, so i always make sure its just ONE quick look if its NECESSARY if not, then no problem, dont look at all! show them modesty, show them what islam is, show them WE are muslims. :coolbro: big beard, pants above the ankles, and the sunnah, i cannot betray Allah swt while being blessed of being born in this religion of Islam. i realized, Allah swt has given me all i want, im 18, i got an amazing job, ipod 80 gb, a really nice car, ( acura 01) a nice laptop, and my health and iman. Why should i disobey him? one act defys all the nimahs, so i try as HARD as i can not to, i ALHAMDULILLAH dont commit this vile iman drenching act, honestly it makes your iman weak, your eyesight weak and your heart weak. I remember that i wanted to be just like these kuffar, but i found the source of my hypocrisy, ( i dont know the debate on this, all i know is that its haram) MUSIC, was my shot gun that shot me down, SUBHAN ALLAH as soon as i stopped, everything was clear.

Another thing, i am arab, and i think that arab men are better looking than pakastany men (sorry no offence intended), but after meeting so many pious pakastany guys in university i have started to think that pakastany men can be good looking too if they want to be. and besides dark skin is so attractive. Arab men aren't so pious, especially in their teens and early 20's, i just found out some disturbing information about my dad in his early 20's. so in the end pious guys win out.
so if you want to get married go out and look for the pious girl and ask for her. you would be surprised.

Another thing, i am arab, and i think that arab men are better looking than pakastany men (sorry no offence intended), but after meeting so many pious pakastany guys in university i have started to think that pakastany men can be good looking too if they want to be. and besides dark skin is so attractive. Arab men aren't so pious, especially in their teens and early 20's, i just found out some disturbing information about my dad in his early 20's. so in the end pious guys win out.
so be pious and if you want to get married go out and look for the pious girl and ask for her. you would be surprised.

I feel bad for young muslims and their struggles to stay on the straight path.
May Allah (swt) reward you all over and over and over. your going through a serious form of Jihad (al'naffs)
there are so many pressures on you guys.. sex, drugs, dunya... I pray Allah makes it easy on all of you young brothers and sisters. Subhan'Allah.
when your feeling really weak is when you really need to apply your Islam the most. do what is prescribed for you. lowering the gaze, removing yourself from situations that weaken you and FASTING, for fasting cools desires.
i know these things are easier said that done, but its better to do these things then it is to fall into sinful behaviors. sinful behaviors lead to more sinful behaviors etc.
stay strong young muslimeen and inshaa Allah you are of those in the shade of Allah (swt)

visit the masjid, keep your salah and fast. If you try your best, fast as much as you can you'll be alot better and stronger bithnillah. Fast, get out of the house and do more thikr
i watch my gaze, but now its getting out of hand, there are times ive had to masturbate 4 times a day! but now i think that i am going to lose my chastity when i start school this semester. dont get me wrong i dont even have a single friend thats a girl, no one i talk to or anything but i feel that if i get a chance to i will take it :(, ive tried everything:(
