Salaam,
I've been delegated responsibility as DJ for my mates weddin'. I've spoken to him 'bout what I can play, and he's safe with nasheed includin' those with music.
I want to compile a few Cd's with nasheeds for his walimah, and need some recommendations as to what I could include in the Cd's.
If you have suggestions, and I don't have the nasheed, insha'allah, I'll give my email where u can send them. Quality has to be minimum 128kb, but don't worry if it's not, I can enhance the quality.
Any suggestions on DJyin' welcome, as I've not done it before...

Mixture. Even punjabi / urdu ones. The main contingent will be Pakistani.

best place is enshad, but i think ibn sulemans already mentioned that
i remember in egypt when we went (summer time) thre was a wedding every single evening, we used to go to this one place just to watch lol and their weddings are so coool wow they hire professional nasheed bands, you know like local lads, and they all sing nasheeds after the wedding when the bride and groom are walking to the car or whatever lol it used to be crazy, they were pretty good mashallah. imagine hiring nasheed bands in england *thinks* naah
lets get married- jagged edge

Salaam alaikum,
The walimah is on Sunday n I need to put a nasheed Cd together by Friday. I still need recommendations of suitable nasheed to play at the weddin' ceremony.
I got a few, and am still willin' to take suggestions n add them to the playlist...
If you attended walimahs that played nasheed, what nasheed were played?
The weddin' reception will be made up of mainly pakistani / kashmiri's.
I don't intend to play the nasheed out loud, but loud enough for ppl to hear it if they concentrate, but not drown their conversations.
Pls don't post links to sites with a zillion nasheed, only links to specific nasheed, 'cos I'm runnin' out of time fast and can't be downloadin' / listenin' to all the nasheed on the sites.
I don't want too many nasheed that are for children, I'll throw in a few. Its Ok to have a mixture... includin' duff instruments 'cos I read its OK to listen to it for weddin' accordin' to a school of thought.
Jazakallahu khayr for ur help in advance.
