a freind of mine was ment to marry at the age of16,
but then her parents let her put it off for a a yer
she was supposed to go bck home to marry last yer , her mum has cancer
nd the day before they sed the mother was seriously ill and that why they cancelled the thing
she is ment to go in 2 weeks ..
i have just herd that she has ran away ..and she had ran away before toooo, so her mother wasn't ill
her parents are still telling everyone that they will be going to pakistan to get her married ..yet people believe this..and no one relly knowsshes ran away..
wht the hell is going on...i cant believe the parents cant come out clean about it
nd that they are forcing her to get married... whos fault is it?
anyway i just wnna no if there anyone on here who knows of any similar situations

u need to try n get in conatct with her . if its impossible..then im sorry its not in ure hands. u can report it to the police..help ure friend. she needs help. she doesnt need being forced into a marriage? what kind of person would do thta?

Salam! I only know that no such "forcing" is correct. Allah said we should marry the singles, but there is no talking of thislike actions. The slaves should be left alone if they want to be clean, and we all know enough about Maryam i think, so : if someone is not ready for it, and has other things to do : there should be no any kind of forcing, and oppression is worse than killing!
