Help The Comp Will Not Switch On

Salaams i need help i have a dell pc....and it will not switch on, the button contiously flashes on and off in an orange colour....any ideas....

Turn the screen off and then on and start clicking your mouse and press random keys on your keyboard and it shud turn on :scratch:

Ohh, I got dell laptop if urs is a laptop too, switch the charger off from the main plug.. n take the battery out.. wait a bit... n then turn back the charger, n switch laptop on :S hope it works... If not follow the instructions in the manual :p but if it still dont work then its mashed up like mine was :O and it gna take ages to fix ..well a few days but my bros were lazy so it took 6 months :(


Oh oh, if its flashing orange it means da bettery needs charging :p jus do what I typed above if its a laptop otherwise jus charge it :p

hope your well.. in order to solve this problem.. please answer the following!

Is the power turned on to the PC?
When was the last time you used the PC?
Was there an inexpected shutdown?
Remove all power to the PC... leave for 10 Seconds.. and then re-apply power... and try switching on.. What is teh situation?

Will inshallah solve it soon!

LOL i dunno what the problem was...it wouldnt switch on..and then one of the little kids who had done something to the computer...was so scared that he just contionously pressed the on button for ages until it went on...

im so embarrassed...he was like 10 and there i was looking at the wires at the back...making sure nothing had come out etc....and then all he did was press the button for ages...so there u are malikone you were right....GOD I FEEL SO STUPID....
