i'm going to be an mc for the first time and was hoping you guys can help me. my sister's getting married this sunday insha'Allah. Here's a draft of my intro:
Wow..we’re actually starting on time. This can’t be a desi wedding. (- stupid joke..take it out?) Anyway, I wanna welcome you all to this wedding reception for my sister, (sister's name), and (groom's name). Jazakumullahu Khairan all of you for coming. It’s just a pleasure to have all of you here tonight. As always we’re going to begin this program with a recitation of the Holy Qur’an and for that I would like to call my cousin, (cousin's name), and Insha’Allah he’s going to recite a few verses for us.
What do you guys think? Any tips? I've been to a lot of weddings but I don't pay attention to what people say. :confused: I welcome any constructive criticism. I rather make a fool of myself here than in front of 500 people. :)
