hi, i'm very new to this forum, in fact this is my second post, and i have a few questions maybe that have already been posted already, so i'm sorry to bother u especially if i'm posting this in the wrong place.

1st question: if you live in a culture where too much right-wing tv and radio is and people consequently are very ignorant of islam,
or
if there are people close to you who are very against islam, and you are afraid of being rejected...

in either of these situations what should you do, and are there words in the coran about it?

2nd question: what qualifies as a good reason to convert.... some of the reasons are, having a difficult time believing what i can't understand. sdfdfdlij <==i can't understand that, so if someone asks me if i believe it i can only blink. likewise Jesus being 100% man and god, i can't understand. (and therevore how can i believe in him...>)
other things are the amount of perversion in christian churches, people close to you who have gone to church all their lives doing very awful things and pastors with porn addictions and child molesting. when muslim friends first heard of this sort of thing they were shocked. i began to think maybe their religion was the right one. i just want to know what a good reason would be....
again i hope this question is not old to you and i don't want to bother anyone so thank you very much for any help.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was rejected by his own flesh and blood, his uncles. They did the most cruel things to him but he had so much faith in Islam and such a close relationship with his Lord, Allah was enough for him.

Other prophets lost their wives, their sons. Some companions lost their mothers and fathers.

You should become a Muslim because you realise that there is a Creator and that Creator deserves to be worshipped; Allah is your Creator.
Once you taste the sweeteness of faith, Allah will make you strong and able to handle all that befalls you; humans belong to Allah, not to one another. And you will gain a bigger family, the rest of the Ummah (nation of Muslims.)
