imagine u r on a motorway and there r 3 openings u don't know which 1 2 take, so u park + ask 2 passers by, but the problem is that 1 of them is a lair and 1 is not, but u don't + u can only ask them 1 question. wat ? r u going 2 ask?

i think u should ask them which way shall i NOT take the lair will lie to u so u take his way and the one who doesn't lie will tell u the truth so u don't go his way.

huh ! doesn't make sense. :nuts:

What about asking "What do you think the other guard will show me if I ask for the correct way?" To answer this both of them will have to show the wrong way. Therefore you take the other way. :cool:

P.S. Its easier to understand if you draw a picture of the problem in a paper.

U ask the men, ''are these openings to parking''.The lier will reply, ''This and this are openings to parking whil this is not'' Knowing that all are openings and that one of the men are liers and he is the one, u can do the opposite of what he says, i.e. take the opening he said is not an opening.
No sure whether this really works or is cool. Is it reasonable?:rolleyes:
