Firefox not loadin' websites

Salaam,

Firefox isn't loadin' any website includin' ummah.com.

It says 'lookin' up www.ummah.com...' (http://www.ummah.com...'/) without loadin' anythin'.

What seems to be the prob... as its doin' the dsame for other sites too.

I'm typin' this up in IE 6.

Check the proxy settings in firefox

tools> options> general > connection settings

Proxy settin's are:

Direct Connection to the internet

I'm usin' Broadband with ADSL modem, so it should be Direct Connection no?

When I started the browser this morn' it installed an update... maybe I need to reboot...

I restarted PC - still not loading.

Try to reinstall FF

I did think of that, but bein' lazy tried to avoid it at all costs.

Uninstalled FF, reinstalled previous version 1.5, turned off automatic updates. :up:

Yeh.......i used to find that. If i used a proxy on FF it would'nt load the web pages.
