Creating a contents page?

I think you men a contents page for a report?!?!
If so... when you title each section and sub-section in word.. you have to use the HEADING pption for the titles..

Tools>Format&Styles

when you create the contents age. it automatically adds the headings and page number!

so when you click "section 1" in the contents page word jump to "Section 1"??

this is easy

make your index page

go to section 1....and add "anchor"...name it for example "sect1"

go back to the index page

highlight "section 1" and add a link which point to the anchor "sect1"
