assalam aalykum
Just a general comment regarding all of these threads about events.
If you like the event and wish to attend, then Alhamdulilah you should go.
If you would like to plan with other Ummah members, please do that in private (esp sisters) and infact there is no need to announce who is attending which event because there is the security issue, you never know which wacko is viewing these forums.
Some of these events usually have low turn out which makes it quiet easy to work out who is who.
If people are going to events to seek knowledge there is no need to annuonce it to the world, is there? The same for those who are unable to attend, this doesnt have to be announced either.
IF people have any queries regarding the event, why ask here when most likely the users are not the organisers, including the one who posted about the event, most likely they have recieved it in an email or something. So better to make an enquiry with the organisers of the events using the details provided.
And Last but NOt least please do not attend an event and then come back to the thread and start explaining what you were wearing and where you sat and who you went with.. SERVES no purpose here.
I have noticed that in these threads people are giving away too much information about themselves, like which area they live in, which uni they attend and much more.. Is this realy necessary in a public place?? esp sisters??
Just some things to bare in mind.
