i have a problem with my pc, i don't know what it is exactly.

everythings slowed down a great deal - its taking approx 10 minutes to load a page!

Plus, i opened IE and left it to load, only to find this in the search box:
'her off and on and off and on and on and off an F.'

What in the worlds wrong with it? :confused:

Yes, there is this likelihood! However, you can start the system in safe mode and copy your files, to avoid losing them should the attack became very serious.

i downloaded adaware before on another pc. isn't it just a freebie thing that doesnt actually remove anything, but just tells you what you have on your pc?

what good is that going to do me? I need to get rid of things.
plus, i dont have time to clean the darn thing.

i used lavasoft, it found a couple of things.
it'll quarantine - does that mean removal over a gradual period of time?
