I should of named the instructors in the original post.

The current instructors at the institute are:
Shaikh Tawfique Chowdury
Shaikh Murtaza Khan
Shaikh Muhammad Nabeel
Brother Bilal Assad

May Allah help it grow.

:salams Ukthee,

Erm dunno- but Al Kawthar Institute are excellent :masha: they hold Islaamic courses on a vast array of subjects taught by students of knowledge and scholars but their based down under in Oz (Australia where the Kangas jump about ) and well if they were heading to the UK than many of us brothers we'd all go to these courses to benefit too  .

I just had a look on their website and its brilliant but couldn't find the bit reffering to the Brits. :(

From what I understand sis. their full and part time courses and variations- someone said you can do evening and mix and match subject, and short courses so it might be still managable in the evening/ week ends/ full time or other.

Anyhow, if they do head up here we'll get more info. on this :insha: soon. :)

There is also a students forum and there is already a London students section opened up. It is not a general forum though, mainly just for students and institute related discussions etc.

The way the courses have run down under a weekend intensive courses. So Saturday and Sunday 8 hour classes, wallahu a3lam if this will be the same up in London. (P.S. I am only a student of the institute not a member of the staff). Then you get a couple of weeks to study and the exam is on.

It might sound overwhelming but the institute has set up the courses in a way that you will never be bored subhanAllah. The 2 courses I have attended I have learnt a lot.

If you wish to speak to me as a student I am happy to discuss it, or you could speak to the Shaikh on the forum inshaAllah if you prefer. :)

Shaikh Tawfique was recently in the UK (I think he is back down under now). And I do not know if they have had the launch yet up there.

InshaAllah the brothers and sisters in London will be attending classes by the end of 2006. I hope you blokes are as excited as we were down here when we first heard about it last November.
