Assalaamu alaikum
I and some others have organised an Arabic course teaching Qur'anic Arabic for two/three months during the summer holiday period in Kings College University, London.
The course will be 4 hours a day, 5 days a week for 8 weeks (Course A) or 4 weeks (Course B).
The course will be segregated and it shall start 5th of June insha Allaah, and course B will start on the 31 July
This course is not organised by the owners of this forum, however, they were very helpful by allowing me to advertise our course here.
For more information and an application form please contact Arabic_courses@hotmail.com
Jazaakum Allahu khairan for your time.

Due to certain requests I write this to ask those who are interested in the courses that are unable to attend due to the times. So I am asking you all for your suggestions on better times. What would be a better time? Please bear in mind that the current Course A has 160 hours of study time. 136 of those hours are needed to finish the curriculum however the extra 14 hours is for application.
Also, is 4 hours a day 5 days a week too much? Over here in my university we study 5 hours a day 5 days a week for the whole year, so I am pretty much used to that amount of work, however others might not be, so what are your opinions?
Lastly, I am contemplating organising a weekend course for those who are working, would anyone be interested?

Some may think that what I am offering is expensive, or not worth it. So I thought that I would compile a little list of other Arabic courses and their prices. Bear in mind that these classes are not teaching Qur'anic Arabic (except SOAS) they are teaching modern Arabic (the difference between Shakespearian English and modern slang). I wrote at the end of each course how much it would cost at the amount of hours I am teaching (my course A is 160 hours).
Language Trainers

£7.34 per hour (per person only if there is 9-10 students), and for 160 hours £1175
Cactus Language Courses Uk

11 weeks (2 hours per week) for £219 which is £9.90 per hour. So for 160 hours it is £1592.72
University of London - School of Oriental and African Studies Language Centre - ARABIC LANGUAGE COURSES
http://www.stanford.edu/class/arabic/misc/programs/london.html
£250 per person, for a total of 25 hours of tuition, including materials, payable in advance.
That is £10 for one hour, £1600 for 160 hours.

The fee for each ten week term is £235 payable in advance. Two hours a week which is £11.75 an hour. So 160 hours is £1880 (not including books).

Soas do have an intensive course which is for 6 and a half hours a day (bearing in mind that 1 and a half hours for a break) 5 days a week for four weeks. A total of 100 ours for the amazingly cheap price of £1,175. Which is 100 of study time (well 130 hours including the breaks), so the hourly price is £11.75 per hour (£9 pounds and three pence including the breaks).

Me
£350 for a two month course including books for 5 days a week, 4 hours a day.
Which is 2.19 per hour and books are included (not to mention that sisters are paying £1, and 6p per hour). The second course is £150 for one month, 4 hours a day, 5 days a week. It works out to be £1.88 an hour (98p per hour for sisters). As for the books, then don’t think that they are small booklets,
Madeena Book 1 is 122p (Arabic) and 55p (English explanation)
Madeena Book 2 is 220p (Arabic) and 107p (English explanation)
Madeena Book 3 is 303p (Arabic only)
"The explanation of Aajroomiyya" is over 535p (Arabic only)
The "40 Hadeeth to Teach the Arabic language" is 355p (however a3 size pages).
"Principles of the Arabic language" is 89 pages of tables and diagrams (A4 size).
All of the above a part of the course and you don’t have to buy them (if applications are received before 26th of May).
So upon looking at the price of my course, just to spend one hour learning the language of the Qur'aan is less than a chicken and chips (without a drink),lol.
What are you paying for!
I thought that it would be important to mention that anyone who joins this course is paying for the seat and the ability to contact me at ANY time during the course (even outside the lesson) to ask questions about what was studied. So if someone has difficulty doing homework, or never understood something properly during the lesson, then they are free to call me.
Anyway, I just thought I would mention the above.
