Anyways, it can relate to brothers aswell, if you're anytihng like me and you look at yourself a lot... Reading a book called "Sword against Black Magic" and came across sometihng very interesting which I thought I would share with you inshaAllah and inshaAllah you will all benefit from.

I'm sure you're all aware of the evil eye (Al 'Ayn) but did you know, you can give evil eye to yourself :eek:

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "The effect of an evil eye is a fact." (Book #71 (http://www.searchtruth.com/book_display.php?book=71&translator=1&start=0&number=636), Hadith #636 (http://www.searchtruth.com/book_display.php?book=71&translator=1&start=0&number=636#636))

"Man does not get jealous of his ownself or his wealth, but he may affect these with his evil eye"

Abu Sad Khurdi reported: The Prophet SAW used to seek refuge in Allah from the Jinn, then mans evil eye. But when Chapters 113 (Al Falaq) and An Nas (114) were revealed, he adopted them (Tirmidhi, Book of medicine)

According to the above tradition, the evil eye also comes from the Jinn. Therefore a Muslim should invoke Allah upon undressing, looking in the mirror, starting any taks etc.

So sisters, next time you look in the mirror and admire yourself, remember to say "MashaAllah, Allah has made me so beautiful :75:"

Allahumma hassanta khalqi fa hassin khuluqi

to say hassanti is wrong bc "ti" is for feminine, which Allah is not a feminine word so it should be like that hassanta and saying it as 'hussina' makes the verb form different, "hussina khuluqy" means "my character has been made beautiful", its like a statement with the passive verb, not a request, bt "hassin" is an imperitive form, which is like asking for an action to be done. Im not saying it to pick but just insha allah we should be accurate with the language when using these kind of duas :)
