I would be prepared to die for Islam as shaheed, because the shahada achieve jannah without judgement. (which rocks :D).

But other than that, I think my chances of jannah are in the minuses :p :crying:

Subhan'Allah we will never be 'ready' to die ...only Allah(swt) knows how and when we will die..so we never can be 'ready' in that sence can we?

Subhan'Allah we will never be 'ready' to die ...only Allah(swt) knows how and when we will die..so we never can be 'ready' in that sence can we?

Mashallah good point. I agree, we will never be ready to die...Allahu alim, hence the beauty of it is, we continue to stuggle, and we continue to strive for the sake of Allah (swt).....even then, we can never be ready.......

Subhanallah, even on the day of Judgement, the most pious amongst us will say they did not do enough, they will desire one more chance to utter even one more 'Alhumdullilah'......

Inshallah I pray that we will be amongst those who may not be ready..because we shall never be perfect muslims....but through Allah (swt)'s mercy...inshallah we shall amongst those who have His (swt)'s shade on the day of judgement...ameen

no definatley not i'm scared very scared especialy the punishment in the grave abt ur death topic uhmmm i have a few questions abt it lyk do we get punished in the grave?............n what actually happens when u die like in the grave nd what would Jannat be like? also last question is there any surah in the holy Quran that refers to death if there is i would b more thn greatful if nyyy1 can give me the surah n chapter i can find it ok kh iltemaase dua

Subhanallah sis, its so good that you want to learn about it alhumdullilah...because its such an important topic, and it really increases your emaan. The topic about punishment in the grave and jannah, is mashallah an extensive one.

I would highly highly recommend 'The Hereafter' series 1 & 2 by Imam Anwar al-Awlaki....it should be available from your local Islamic book store inshallah, its very comprehensive and covers everything from death, to punishment in the grave, to the day of judgement, jannah and hell. subhanallah, its amazing seriously.....

I shall try and find some specific ayat on death for you inshallah...post them soon.
