looking For A Partner

I Need A Partner In Life, For It Be The Lords Command,
To Seek A Partner When Necessary,

Doorbell Rings Alas! A Man,
Stock Up With T-bags And Milk, Time To Make Indian Tea,

The Guy Wont Stop Talking I Wish He Would Leave,
A Headache I Have Gained But Still No Husband In Sight To See,

The Words Gone Out A Man Required,
O' What Shame My Street Cred's On Fire,

When A Man Is Wanted There Is No-one Around To See,
Now One Has Arrived 2 Or 3 Others Arrive On The Scene,

An Appointment System My Parents Arrange,
All These Men Not Compatible I Complain,

Up The Supermarket I Take A Trek,
For No-more T-bags And Milk We Have Left,
I Stare At The Supermarket Aisle And See,
An Empty Shelf,

Alas! I Say Enough Space For Me,

O' Lord Not A Man For A Partner Do I Need,
I Will Leave It In Thy Hands And Accept What Is Meant To Be,
I Will Forever Have You As My Companion In Life,
To Share My Jokes With And All My Strives,

I Will Sit On My Shelf Worshipping You,
And When The Right Person Comes Along,
Thou Can Give Me A Shove And A Push And Give Me Fall!

I like the moral..

you know its silly people spending their hard earned efforts trying to get married..

If its not meant to be.. its not meant to be..

I like the idea of just sitting on the shelf..

It means sitting on the shelf worshipping ALLAH.......sharing all your joys and strifes with him.........

And when the right person comes along Allah will give him/her a push to fall into this right person :)

Yeh I get it...but then again I dont

Your perfect spouse isnt just going to fall from the sky, neither are they going to come knocking on your door, nor are they going to pop out of a secret package delivered to you from auntie g down the road who does rishtas....while you are simply sitting on the shelf...

You use the means Allah (swt) gives you, you have to put that effort physically, and if that means getting the milk and making cups of tea...so be it....and then the rest you leave up to Allah (swt) and Allah (swt) will open the doors...and Allah (swt) will bestow you with a companion.

..And ofcourse you make much du'aa that Allah makes this easy..and that one day that tea you make, will be for your future companion inshallah........

yeh.. hmmm

No *sighs* man.......

Listen to this.....so we have to make all those teas right....allahu alim how many times yeh...eventually, can you imagine, by the time 'THE ONE' comes through the door...we would have perfectly perfected exactly what the perfect composition of the perfect tea is *thats hard to say init*???

The ratio of milk to water, how many times you stir, the angle your wrist should be when you drop in the tea bag, the technique of dropping in the sugar with the tea spoon...ALL this is critical...'THE ONE' may not want to marry you otherwise....

So its not all bad...:)

No man, if 'THE ONE' dont drink tea, then mastering the art of pouring juice is a completely different story...I mean, in this case, you have to calculate the time it takes to pour the juice from bottom of the glass to the top, divide that by the radius, and multiply by the speed at which your pouring it to get a value between 3.667-3.999 = the perfect glass of juice.

Now if you mum makes the tea or poured the juice, and 'THE ONE' wants to marry you..well because he's 'THE ONE' you see, he should immediately have realised your mum made it,so no deception there, and then he should have the brain wave that daughters tea = probably just as good as, if not better then mums tea..and 'THE ONE' is completely justified in still wanting to marry you.

See, this just gets better and better. Ok I'll stop.
