HELP: i have a freind who is interested in islam...

i invited her to ilsamic society 1nce... nd she really liked it..
i found out from her m8 that she likes islam and is interested.. the thing is the ppl she hangs around with arent practising...

so i asked her if it was true and she said yeah. so i asked would you think about becoming a muslim,, she replies YES!
and i was sooo happy and i went up 2 her and cuddled her :):inlove:

the thing is she is goin to stay on at the 6th form.. nd i mightmove somewhere els.. to a different college... and i dont want o loose contact with her,, i reall ywant to help her and show her the right path with the guidance and will of the Almighty...inshaallah..

everytime me and my friends talk about islam and muslims and stuff she always listens to our convos...
we had some magazines (islamic youth ones).. and i gave her some to read and she was there reading it thru out the whole lesson!

what should i do?
should i gie her a translated quran.. is that ok??

Dont worry bout losing contact....cus u wont...skit and maya and co would still be there...link up outside school aswell if she's allowed...u can even bring her to the meetings when we start up again inshallah..out of curiousity....wat background is she from?

I had a friends who was 'soo' interested in Islam. As soon as she split up with her bf...she was like...oh I dnt want to know bout Islam...im not interested...despite before whenever we spoke she was like..noo not doing it for him..I am genuinly interested :smack:

Actually Shaima I have a dawah pack with Quran/books and I think a tape that u can give to this girl inshallah. I'll send it to u somehow..lol

Sister you should attempt to meet up with her as often the best form of Dawah is your strength of character....By meeting her and being in regular contact she will see that you care for her and will be a pillar for her when the time comes for her to embrace shahadah. Buy her books etc but being their in person is far more effective than any book given to her to read.

Often the best for a stranger to get to know someone is to give em sweets and presents. E.g. Ambala Samosas ( veggie ) or Matai.

yes give her the quran, i also know that Darussalam, do starter packs for new muslims or ones who want to become one, it is 5 mini books and tapes each about the 5 pillars of islam, its jus basic stuff on each and doesn delve to deep etc.

maybe u could buy her that (i think its about £7.00) and give it with the quran?

n its got a quran in it aswell!
event though it didnt have any tapes. i had some so i added some of my own (cool lectures!) :)
