Quest for Taqwa

Taqwa, fear of Allah and Iman. i am lookng any way or tips to improve taqwa. First i believe that we as human must have a fear of Allah.We all know that Allah is All loving,merciful,forgivefull and etc. This is why sometime people really misunderstood,and even a become a ticket to feel unguilty and not scare to commit sin.my opinion is to get the taqwa is to think about death, fear death unrepent. this is mine, but how about other member think about other ways for taqwa. I really need to improve taqwa at first place because this will keep me far away from sin.

Second, the one who loves a person only for the sake of Allahs sake. And third, one who hates to revert to athiesm (disbelief) as he hates to be thrown in the fire'' (bukhari)

What do you think when we feel fear of Allah .to be frank sometime we not really fear even we had little fear of Allah.what trigger you all to have fear and then start to strive for increased your ibadah? i think the way is to think about death and fear allah punishment/ bala'. Yes, this is the way to start the feeling that will make us do morning and evening zikr, travelling zikr, b4 sleep zikr, solaat as sunnah, tahajjud, reciting al quran. This is the way that make us fear to violate the rule, to stay far away from maksiat.

Iman is one thing, but Taqwa that will defend you from commit sins. And this the thing that i try to get it.
