If I am a shephard and I maintain a flock of sheep,
I tell them all ~ here's the rules by which you may live upon my land.
If you decide to leave these set boundaries, I will hunt you down & kill you for straying from the path of life I have set before you this day.
Are these rules a fair exchange for excepting life on the farm?

An Afghan man is being prosecuted in a Kabul court and could be sentenced to death on a charge of converting from Islam to Christianity, a judge said this weekend.
What is the difference between the above two stories?
