Assalamu Alaikum,

Is there anyone out there who can contact a few arabic artisits such as Ahmed Bukhatir and Sameer al Bashiri, I have tried but they can't speak English, what it is i've allowed people to listen to Nasheeds on our website (www.islamise.co.uk) by such artists but not to download them, but ultimate plan is to sell these on CD's which generates income for the artists themselves (and a little for us). Already ordered some for Ahmed Bukhatir.

Now the dilemma is I never got permission of them to put their tracks on the website..

They already do it on their own websites but as it is in Arabic, English speaking Muslims cannot understand...

Akhi, as far as i know you are allowed to let people download brother Ahmed Bukhatir's previous 4 albums. Not the new one.....i don't think you can sell them though....because you would need a license from Ahmed Bukhatir himself to do that!!! Contact tahir@tahirrashid.com for more info, inshaAllah he can help you out on what you can put and what you can't put on your site...

By the way....are some of those nasheeds you have up from IslamGlobe?

We buy the Ahmed Bukhatir Nasheeds from a supplier in the UK, why would you need permission from Ahmed Bukhatir as these CDs are original, so must originate from Ahmed Bukhatir licensed distributor.

Its strange, all the links work for me, unless you mean when you press play nothing loads up, well that may be due to the server being slow.

Tahir Rashid makes his own Nasheeds in English, is he also an expert in the Arabic Nasheed field??

errr..Tahir is actually the UK manager for Ahmed Bukhatir.....:)....i don't know whether he is an expert on arabic nasheeds or not....but then again he probably doesnt know much about arabic nasheeds....lol...

Has Ahmed Bukhatir got other English Nasheeds, if not it would be good to have an English Album of him, as more more and more people are finding out about him and he is in DEMAND.

Inshallah, I would be the first person to buy his albums, but sincerely hope he doesn't become a commercial artist and starts using musical instruments to cater for all the MARKET!! Like some brothers have done
