Its not that simple
If israel wanted to live side-by-side with the muslims, this would have been different
if you were to ask me for $1 dollar, i would gladly give it to you
but if you decided to stick your hand into my pocket and take $1, we will fight to the death

The two-states solution seems to be a utopia now. That's why people favor bi-nationalism... it's simple, just give up your ethnic segregation.

Good to see peace can be achieved by some religionists, even if the majority are content to spill blood because of whichever deity they follow.

Listen mate, the reason why people hate jews is because you have stolen the land from the Palestinians, You have displaced, and killed off many of them. That is why people dislike the jews, add to that you have the US congress backing you up on everthing, including the crime that you commit against the Palestinians.

I appreciate that you want peace and that your desire is sincere
however if you really want the Palestinians to be able to live at peace with Israel
Please explain why so many of the Palestinians I know have had their homes destroyed by Israeli bulldozers?
One had his home destroyed along with two thousand other homes in Rafah in Gaza. he only just managed to get his children out safely in time - his family had no warning of their home being destroyed. He saw other families trying to get their children out of the back of their home whilst bulldozers were already flattening the front of the home. I have no idea what the death toll for Palestinians crushed by Isreali bulldozers is. the others (from the West Bank actually very close to where you live you have probably heard of their town) had their homes destroyed because their location does not fit in with Israel's plans for the wall, illegal jewish settlements and roads connecting the illegal settlements, plans that the Israeli government has increased rapidly in the West Bank since the Gaza withdrawal.
This is just one of the very serious barriers towards the Palestinians being able to live in safety and freedom. Without such basic rights being recognised, they cannot possibly be expected to live peacefully.
If you are sincere in your desire for peace, go and find out what life is really like for Palestinians trying to raise families and make a living under the occupation, you should start by getting in touch with ICAHD (Israeli committee against home demolitions) they can send you on tours of the occupied terrritories, guided by people who can show and tell you all about life there. You could also read some of their essays on the municipal occupation of Palestine (which is crippling their economy and preventing development of the communities, preventing them from developing their businesses, preventing farmers from accessing land they own, even preventing children from going to school and adults from going to university) and their essays on the reality of home demolitions.
And just to give you an idea about how biassed most of the reporting you get on the Israel/Palestine conflict is - consider this... if Palestinians bulldozed an Israeli family's home, in Israel, can you imagine the outcry? Yet thousands of Palestinians have had their homes bulldozed by Israel and the world is silent.

and by the way, the UN partition plan was opposed by the USA about a year after it was formed, and they asked for it to be disbanded and for the Jews to enter into talks with the Palestinians because they realised that it was totally unfair to expect the Palestinians to give up half their country when they had never even been consulted on the matter. However in response to that, instead of going into talks with the Palestinians, they went on a rampage of massacring Palestinians and razing Palestinian towns and villages. Deir Yassin massacre was the first one, and Menachem Begin broadcast on the radio "as Deir Yassin so everywhere" causing the Palestinans to flee in terror, in the wake of which Israel seized the land, razing entire towns and villages to the ground, then pretending they have never existed. I have visited one such eradicated village in Nazereth and seen photographic evidence of its existance (the landscape matches) and the funny shapes in the forest thats there now that used to be buildings.
I agree that the past is the past and you have to move on into the future - but you know how much it hurts when people deny the holocaust - don't you owe it to the Palestinians to correctly remember the abuses inflicted on them in the past? Do you not think that it makes it so much harder for those who were robbed in the past to forgive and forget when those that robbed them denied that it even happened?
Also, the main issue is what is happening now... if the Palestinians currently had their rights fully recognised, they would find it easier to forget the past. What has worked in the Northern Ireland conflict is for the Catholics (the oppressed/disposessed) to be given the same rights as the Protestants (the oppressors/stealers of land) - without equal rights they could never have accepted any peace dea;s.

It is quiet simple really.
Give us what was ours, and you can live on 'what part' was yours.
You are probably thinking, well none of it was ours, the UN gave you some land from the Palestinian lands.
Thats right, so how can you say anything is yours? you are a begger given a piece of bread by the house hold, and you get up and claim the whole house for yourself.

Jews have more money then Muslims, is it alright if I come and rob you? you're argument has no basis. Just because Muslims have more land it doesn't give you the right to steal it from them. Or to destroy olive grows, and demolish houses.
I don't have a problem with peaceful Jews! and stating facts doesn't make you an antisemitic it makes you intelligent.

Not all zionists are Jews and not all Jews are zionists. Please have the intelligence to recognise the difference between racism against Jews and criticism of the crimes committed by zionists. For any Muslims bent on using BNP and BNP style literature against Jews or Zionis....... just remember what the BNP are saying against Muslims!!!
There are Jews that are opposed to the state of Israel and the crimes committed against the Palestinians. Here is one example of such an organisation: http://www.nkusa.org/ and there are many others. The zionists are constantly accusing anyone who criticises Israel of being anti semitic (or "self hating jews") and if those of us who criticise Israel for its war crimes cannot tell the difference we are playing into the hands of the Zionists. In addition to the fact that any form of racism is wrong.

Interesting stuff! As a historian, I appreciate examining both sides of the issue. Here's some good stuff I found after checking out the Hamas offer: http://www.is-pal.net/ It's got lots of articles on the origins of the conflict.
I can say I'm almost good on Hamas.
I think the whole movement's problem has been terrorism. Ghandi & Martin Luther King, Jr. had the right idea. Instead of highjacking planes and blowing up innocents with bomb, the Palestinians should have chosen peaceful protest instead. I guess they thought they could win the war, gambled, and lost.
Americans, in general, are against intentional child killing. It's a major PR problem for the PLO and, now, Hamas.

Americans, in general, are against intentional child killing. It's a major PR problem for the PLO and, now, Hamas.
Interesting though that the Palestinians can be so readily condemned for killing civilians in desperation at their situation (they don't have tanks, planes, helicopters etc to be able to defend themselves from the army that occupies their country and kills their civilians) whilst western governments including USA UK and Israel can kill many times the number of innocent civiilians including children using tanks, planes, helicopters, cluster bombs and worse and call it "collateral damage" without being criticised by the mainstream capitalist politicans and media.
Whatever Hamas has done wrong in the past (i.e. attacks on civilian targets, although they have upheld a ceasefire for over a year now and not carried out any such attacks on civilian targets) has been done on a much greater scale by western governments who do not have the excuse of being severely oppressed by an occupying army that they do not have the means to fight against. If intentional child killing is your yard stick, apply the same yardstick to the USA, Israel, the UK and everyone else.
Also, the Palestinians as a population have not chosen to hyjack planes (a splinter group from the PLO did sometime in the 80s but that has not been repeated since) or to bomb civilians - the Palestinians who oppose such actions have had no control over those that carry them out, therefore collective punishment of the Palestinians - a course of action continually carried out by the Israeli government and army - is not justifiable, and for that matter never will be. (I'll say the same thing about Palestinian attacks on Israeli civilian targets because there are always those within a population that are NOT responsible for the actions of those among them that carry out atrocities)
Also the Palestinians have pursued decades of peaceful protest only to be faced with tanks, rubber bullets (which are actually steel bullets coated in rubber) tear gas, vicious beatings and arrest/imprisonment and the peaceful protests being completely ignored by anyone outside of Palestine. They have not given up peaceful protest in favour of violence either, and I have seen video footage of several recent peaceful protests in Palestine with the results I've described. The only thing that ever got onto the mainstream media beyond Palestine were plane hijackings and suicide bombs, which has been used to justify ignoring the plight of the Palestinian population as a whole and to justify collective punishments upon them, and the fact that plane hyjacking hasn't happened for decades has escaped the notice of the mainstream (if your response is anything to go by) and that Hamas have stopped attacks on Israeli civilians has similarly escaped notice.
Basically I don't have a problem with criticising the Palestinians for attacks on Israeli civilians - I do that myself anyway - however I won't accept such criticism except from those who are fully aware of the reality of life for Palestinians living under occupation and who also apply the same moral standards to all other governments/countries.
But I will not rest, I shall never settle
For the injustice my people endure.
Palestine is our land and there we'll remain
Until the day our homeland is secure.
And if that time shall never come,
Then we will never see a day of peace.
I will not be thrown from my own home,
Nor will my fight for justice cease.

....leave us in peace
Okay forget the past.
But how can Israel want peace when till this day its still demolishing homes, expelling it inhabitations, and building illegal settlements on top of them?
“Israel has approved construction of hundred homes in west bank settlement, the defense ministry said yesterday, conforming what would be a violation of the u.s backed peace plan.”
This was in the newspaper 4 months ago—there probably made by know.
Do you know that when the Olso “peace process” was going on the settlements went up 50%?
And why should we recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s when nobody in the world (except for the U.S) has and there has been 6 UN resolutions for it to change its status?
There can’t be talk of peace till Israel makes big changes in the region. Gaza withdrawal was a start but there are still 280,000 setters living in the occupied areas.
the onus is on israel, they are the occupiers…tho, everybody says its on the Palestinians.
Oh, and in the General Assembly 20th session in 1965, “the legitimacy of struggle by the people under colonial rules to exercise their rights to self-determination and independence” was recognized
