you can have a democracy in a sharia state. think i prefer the democratic state, you have the will to choose who you think will make a better leader for your country, hence your vote is a reflection of your views in a way.

It's more to do with the source of legislation, and very little to do with choosing who rules over you. Also in sharia Muslims do choose who rules over them.

there you go! this post was made about democracy, democracy is giving the poeple the right to choose who should govern their country, a country that is representative of all..the question perhaps should be a bit more specific.

Democracy is authority to the people and sovereignty to the people, whilst in Islam authority is to the people, but the sovereignty is to Allah (swt) alone. Those who know Democracy will never accept a Theocracy as Democratic.

Shair'ah is perfect, any man made law will always have to be changed as time passes by. The laws of democracy will not be the same in 50 years time, yet the Shair'ah has been here and is still liveable since 1427 years ago.
Also man made laws are only established on the weak. Prince Harry was cuaght taking drugs, was he sent to prison? No!

We as muslims are not to follow any other imitations of falsehood, or any other man made laws, hence we call our selfs muslims (submission to Al-ISLAM) only.!!!

And I always thought the west was built on Christian principles. .
The hypocrisy just never ends.

If our father is perfect and knows all, then non-else can supersede.

I personally feel, for those kafrs that cann't grasp this concept,
Muslims sometimes must fight fire with fire, (depending on the situation) in order to not be exploited by them.

To live and die in accordance to the Qur'an and Sunnah and be governed by the laws of Allah (swt) is the only viable option available to Muslims.
The Shari'ah is our option and soon insha'allah we shall live under this system and will witness a return to the Khilafah- Ameen.

I dont understand how any muslim cannot vote for "shairah law" so overtly. Shariah law is the way of the Prophets, and the rules taking from the revelation of Allah subhan wa talah! How can you reject that, and go for a man made concept, that has only recently been developed and is so full of hypocriy and corruption?
Thats a little worrying init.
Instead vote for the kuffar man made systems known as "democracy" and the false and skewed notions of "freedom of speech" they propogate especially with all the anti islamic rhetoric going on. Even kuffar themselves know that that democracy doesnt really exist, its just a label used to manipulate the masses into thinking they are utterly in an "Free" and "right" and "un-oppressive" environment.
Those who see the shariah as inferior to man made law, have a serious problem, infact i dont know the daleel on this, but id stay right away from a such a people, for fear of being hanging around with munafiqs.
Allah knows best.

Shariah also gives the right for people to choose who should govern their country! look at the example of the khulafaa al rashidoon, they were elected! its just that now there is not one muslim country that follows shariah to this extent.. thats why people get the wrong idea.. in shariah u MUST elect ur leader! So called Muslim countries seem to pick what they like out of shariah and forget the most important thing.. the islamically-elected leader..
