Rome (rpo). A north italian company has discovered a gap in the market: Under the label "Al-Quds" it distributes jeans for muslims that are suitable for prayers. The trousers have an extra-wide waistband and a generous cut to ease bowing down during worship.

Even the pockets are worked out wide in order to store property such as watches and glasses which are not needed during prayers. For the stitching a green thread - the colour of islam - is used.

The jeans manufactured in Pakistan are exclusively made for gentlemen and according to the company they are offered in 40 supermarkets all over Italy since the weekend.

Actually, he introduced PANTS made out of denim after hearing the complaints of prospectors whose trousers often tore during their work. Denim was used at that time to make tents. Denim is the name of the material and is one of the world's oldest fabrics. More (http://www.levistrauss.com/about/history/denim.htm)

Jeans remain the perfect example of the American mastermind to colonise the fashion/taste/dressing habit of a stunned world. The design for the Muslim prayers is the next stage.

Its not like guys wear jeans that make it difficult to bow down in prayer. Jeans of today hang so there should'nt be a problem bowing in prayer anyway.

It's haram for a Muslim man to wear tight jeans, and since loose fitting jeans don't make it hard to pray, then there really isn't any gap in the market for this at all.
